So is Veigar not bad anymore?
I mean, he received a heavy buff the instant C9 played him in LCS. I can't find the exact combat stats that increased though, but after that moment, the forums stopped calling him bad.

He was never bad, especially against an AP champion.
They buffed his w cast time and let him get his q passive (5 ap at lvl 9) from assists as well as kills. This just added to the minor buff they've been giving him every other patch for a while now. He actually is quite strong now. Not darius lvl strong, but definitely a good pick.
Veiger is very good now.
According to boards, he's the newest cancer.
He was never bad. I've been playing him most of the season with success. He was good but now hes better. He was a very overlooked pick.
Veigar was in a really poor spot. He's seen very tiny buffs that have started stacking up though and now people are noticing. That there's a lot of Juggernauts walking around (and into Event Horizons) is also part of it, I think.
he punished a team without matchup experience in a very specific counterpick.
I doubt you'll see him again.
