Watching C9 fall makes me sad

As a C9 fan without Hai they're basically just garbage I never thought I would want Hai back mid but they are picking and banning horribly.

Was it really? People knew he was the main shot caller, but being so important to this extent I don't think anyone anticipated that.

Yeah incarnation is just bad for them. He is not as oppressive as Hai; he isn't a shot caller; and he can't seem to win lane. He was losing Tdk in lane

I hate to say it it if the team has to play around him, he probably isn't for them

The problem with C9 is that it doesn't matter how good their players are if they don't have good shot calling, and it is pretty clear at this point that Hai was one of, if not THE, best shotcallers in NA. Even with his mistakes, his shotcalling was so good that it usually didn't matter because C9 could make a win happen somehow anyway.

It's sad, C9 was such a strong team and for a good while have been NA's hope of winning worlds (alongside TSM). I don't think CLG, TL, and GV are world's material as they stand :/

TSM hope of NA at winning worlds? What are you on? TSM was never considered a contender on international stage, they've never even been a possible dark horse. C9 on the other hand has shown growth after their first worlds, and all of their lanes had room for growth at the mechanical level, which was one thing they were bad at. As it stands no team in NA can even hope to leave the groups, assuming TSM doesn't get the easiest possible group yet again. It's sad, but that's the reality.

... If you read maybe you would have noticed I mentioned C9 first. TSM has been to every single worlds tournament and have always been at the top of the standings. They have the potential to win worlds, it just won't be easy at all. What are you on?

Now I see you're just delusional. Let me spell it out for you - NA IS NOT A COMPETITIVE REGION. Just because TSM is at the top of the standings in NA, doesn't mean jack shit on international stage. Just like Besiktas being a top team in Turkey. They have as much potential to win worlds, as a wild card team. That's the harsh reality, reality nonetheless. Anyone who's not biased towards TSM (or any NA team for that matter) realizes that.

Because TPA didn't win worlds in Season 2, and TSM didn't give SSW a run for their money. Why do people on the internet have to be such jerks about everything. You sound worst than the people who spam NA > EU and EU > NA on twitch chat every LCS match. If NA loses at Worlds then w/e, but it's pessimistic and even idiotic to just count out a whole region to satisfy your ego. Don't bother replying.

Don't even compare TSM to TPA. They had a potential to be the dark horse, and it turned out they were. And no, TSM didn't give SSW a run for their money. And if you believe they did, it's time to take off those rose-colored glasses. And saying something you don't like doesn't make me a jerk. If you think that NA teams can do anything during worlds in their current state (slow paced game, that is NOT strategic in the slightest - they have no idea how to play and close out the game - which makes most of the games long and boring to watch - and they do millions mistakes until the game is finished, if you knew anything about the game instead of listening to casters like Jatt, you'd realize it yourself), then THAT'S idiotic, and overly optimistic. It doesn't satisfy my ego in the slightest. I count out current NA teams, but I'd love to see more competition in NA. I'd like to watch better games from NA teams and think, that they're able to upset best teams in the world. Right now they're not even in discussion.

The problem is that they're sticking incarnation on all these carry mids when Sneaky is the best player on their team and possibly the best ADC in NA. Just put Incarnation on Orianna and Lulu mid and have him sit on top of Sneaky in fights and watch their winrate skyrocket.

It honestly feels like a natural extension of their career. Despite putting up great numbers, they've noticeably had a rougher and rougher time as the seasons went on. I honestly think it might just be a meta that doesn't fit their playstyles. I miss the Ashe/Zyra bot lanes.

It's just proof that the best NA has to offer is subpar to other regions. C9 was the hands-down best NA team until other teams (like TSM) started importing players. C9 is just late to the import game. Look how many other teams have a player literally from Korea.
