C9 WILL Beat WE

Yes! I’m a C9 fanboy. Yada Yada Yada. But I honestly don’t think C9 is going to lose a B05 to WE. C9 has always been great at adapting for BO5 and I don’t think WE can outpick/ban them in an extended series.

Don’t get me wrong. I think C9 would lose to any other 1 seeded team, but I see them as a favorite against WE and I also predict a 3-1 series win for them.

WE looked descent in groups, but they showed weakness at the play in stage, they showed weaknesses in week 1 of the easiest group at worlds... I guess I just don’t think they are ready for C9. C9 is battle tested so far and I don’t really think WE is.

I have all the hope in the world for C9. I think Jensen can go toe to toe with Xiye. Impact can play better than 957, but Impact has to bring his A game. Mystic looks scary in bot lane and that's the current meta. I think if Sneaky can win lane, than C9 will win. If he gets caught out, than they will get steam rolled. Look at that last game against AHQ, if Mountain's J4 would of caught sneaky, than that game would of looked a lot different. Go Sneaky Go!

Cut from the same cloth C9 and WE are. They both were in the play-in stage just to be apart of Worlds. They both started off meh within the tournament and both got better as time went on, especially for team WE. For C9 on the other hand they once again had to rely on SKT beating teams for them to make it to the bracket stage, while WE earned a spot themselves.

Do I think C9 CAN beat WE? YES
Do I think C9 WILL beat WE? IDK, I mean, It's worlds and each year it's reallly the same. If you seen 2013 Worlds you already saw 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 looking just about the same.

C9 is consistently good at not being bad, and that is how they got their wins. The weaker teams this Worlds made too many mistakes or were too inconsistent, which allowed the stronger teams to capitalize on them. C9 was playing a cut above these teams. However, it is not the same in the knockout stage, and only winning by capitalizing on the mistakes of others is no longer going to cut it.

C9 is playing incredibly passive, not daring to make any big plays other than your standard jungle ganks. They will have to make plays to beat the stronger teams, and they just can't do it on the same level. SKT is playing relatively weak and is probably on a similar level as SSG and WE at the moment. C9 didn't stand a chance against SKT, they didn't stand a chance against EDG when they showed up. There is no reason to think they will beat WE.

C9 won 3 games, all 3 against weaker teams. 2 of those games were won by capitalizing on the mistakes of the other team. The other win because they outdrafted the opponent, not because they played on an incredible level. Meanwhile WE has looked pretty dominant against arguably stronger teams than AHQ and a weak EDG.

you jinxed it. C9 did lose. It was a reverse sweep. At game 2, the score was 2-0 in favor of C9, but then WE came back and beat C9 3-2.

Reapered needs to trust in Impact. Stop trying to play through Jensen all the time. Set loose Impact on carry top lane picks and he will take over the game. Sneaky needs to step up, in an ADC favored meta, he has been less than a carry.

They have the skill to win this match, they have the experience to handle the pressure, and they have the 6th man (NA fans) sending them all the energy they need. Now they just need to put it all out there on the rift and make it happen. #NAWIN #C9WIN [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
