...We are at the Worlds Championship. Yes, EU has historically performed better. Yes, NA destroyed EU at Rift Rivals in glorious fashion. Let it all go.

I stand before you all in support of a greater cause. We DO NOT need to be fighting each other! Our rivalry is fun and sure it’s cool to poke fun at each other... but we share a common enemy!

The west is full of great personalities and players who continually get the finger and get written off because they play in the West. But the West IS getting better and more competetive.

I don’t care if you’re NA or EU, I WILL support you and your team to beat those slimy, smug, eastern tree stumps. If NA falls, whatever. Im gonna throw out my best EU support to beat the Koreans and the Chinese! We are in this together! Stop pitting us against each other.

I’d gladly watch an EU team hoist the trophy if it couldn’t be an NA team and I hope an EU fan would feel the same way. Let’s suppoet each other! Lets take down those smug Korean and Chinese crybabies!

When we lost Rift Rivals NA wouldn't let us live it down.

That said, if it's not Na vs Eu then I think most people support their Western counterparts. We all wanna take down Korea!

You can check how many flames are here when EU is doing bad and how many flames there are when NA is doing bad. When someone says that EU is worse there are multiple replies and downvotes. When someone says that about NA there are 0 replies and 6 upvotes.

You playing the victim role is pathetic. EU has flamed and bashed NA since USA bashing started on internet and you are all fucking %%%%s, the same as any NA %%%% that does the same, so don't play here victim or justify your pathetic ass.

Na beat Eu at MSI and Rift Rivals. They made jokes and meme'd us.

We knocked them out of the Group Stage, so now we're meme'ing them back.

Both regions take jabs at each other and there are too many people that take it too seriously on both sides. I don't think that either region is a victim of this, we're both equally bad as each other. I can easily see that.

It doesn't really have anything to do with me being a victim, I think that's just you projecting your own misunderstanding of my words.

Oh just shut it. Every year topics like this appear after 2nd week. EU gets out of the groups, and NA plays like shit, then some "voice of a reason" comes preaching, that we should join our hands and sing songs together. Only that when it's EU underperforming, you like to rub it in faces of EU fans. Make topic like that after EU plays shit and NA does well and then I might believe you.

Yeah, you should have seen the twitch/youtube chat when MSF was playing and losing early game to Flash Wolves. So much flame and hate vs EU and once lost it''s like nothing but silence

Now, NA fans (non C9) are in damage control. Just like last time how Amazing was playing bad or wild turtle or..etc. It's always TSM trying to blame that one person. This year, I assume it will be Sven. Personally, performance wise, I think Doublellift played worse than any ADC in all 4 groups. 1907 FB had a better performance on their adc

Not as much as EU flames NA, when EU was having a bad week it was not nearly as much even right here than when NA is having one. Also EU is sucking a huge furry dick also but i still read ''EU > NA'' for 5 times last 10 min in this board. I am from EU and i want to see esports discussions, when it involves something international there is always some EU fanboy that has to rub it in NA face, and that is why i don't come back often.

Rivalry between 2 loser regions is bad taste and misses the point completely.

Putting those two line together, makes it like you are comparing two regions for some reason_CN destroyed KR at Rift Rivals in glorious fashion_, yet it doesn't matter why? They are not constantly bragging that they are better than KR. Because they know it was a tournament just for fun, nothing of value was on the line. But NA got that victory to their heads and they thought they could win Worlds, now that is just being delusional.

To be honest, the rivalry between NA and EU never existed until the eastern teams started to dominate and that the NA teams were the only hopes against them. then EU fans started to thrash talk with their "lellele NA scrubs Fnatic atleast won one time" and Na only answered with even more aggressivity. My opinion is that NA players don't really care, until they are provoked by a EU player who can't keep his mouth shut. So if both sides stop to Mirror their aggresivity, then maybe everyone will focus on the simple fact that we need any EU or NA team to be champion instead of SKT... again

What are you even on about, since when have NA teams been the only hope against the eastern teams? None of your teams have even made semifinals since china and korea joined worlds, while at least one eu team's been there almost every year..

Now THAT is delusional talk. NA was never, not even once, considered to be a threat to any of Asian teams. In season 2 it was M5 and CLG eu (M5 was widely considered the best team in the world, and CLG eu was the only team who could beat them consistently). In season 3 it was Fnatic and Gambit, season 4 Alliance (even though they failed to make it out of groups) season 5 Fnatic again, and since season 6 no EU/NA teams looked good enough to pose any threat to korean teams (of course TSM fans will scream, that their team was supposed to win it all, but don't they always). You don't know the history. Since season 2 NA fans have been trashtalking EU teams, unprovoked, with ONE exception, and that was season 4, ironically the only season when NA did better than EU. I'm not saying, EU fans are saints in this, but don't expect them to just sit back and watch, when NA just loves to shit talk EU, while being shit themselves, during almost every international tournament.
