@Riot, what's the deal with Alex Ich?
He seems to just jump from team to team during LCS and Challenger Series Seasons. Surely this isn't something that Riot could be all too happy with. Why is it that Alex Ich can just be a carry-for-hire?

Challenger and the bottom LCS teams are all wonky roster wise. So many subs and player exchanges constantly. The simple truth is there is not nearly enough talent in NA to field 10 solid LCS teams. There's a reason a majority of players even in the top 5 are foreign. So when you have a region that is set up to constantly be in the lime light but is actually comparable to a wild card region in terms of talent pool, odd things happen to make sure every roster can get filled.
A rule change in the off season allows players to freely be loan between challenger and LCS teams up until a lock in date before CS play offs. And based on choices made by management elected to place Alex on TDK for CS play offs.
Is this a good deal for Renegades? I guess Alex has under-performed in the LCS. But this strikes me as a desperation move... Holy smokes.
See, for me renegades replacing ich/rf with seraph/ninja is a bit like a losing sports team starting 2nd-stringers/rookies in place of their starters. Realistically, renegades has zero chance of avoiding relegation (with dig/fox facing eachother I'm pretty sure they can't get higher than 8th). Thus, management is doing a pretty wise move. If the replacements do decently, they could very well see themselves on an lcs team in the summer. If they fail, then it doesn't actually hurt them in the standings.
