TSM vs P1

As a TSM fan, I'm legitimately happy that Phoenix 1 finally managed to do something very worthwhile and ruin TSM's streak. They had some potential at the beginning of the split, in my eyes, but didn't start off strong. Now, who knows, maybe they have potential for next split, as I don't think that they can make playoffs this split, correct me if I'm wrong

Prob team synergy was the main issue.

They can still make the playoffs, it's just highly unlikely. They must win all three of their upcoming games which includes C9, IMT, and Envy. Also Envy must lose all 3 of their upcoming games, and Apex must at least one of theirs. Even if all that happens, they'd have to beat NV in a tiebreaker.

They can possibly beat C9 and most likely will beat NV, since these two teams seem to be falling off, but it's going to take IMT having a serious off day to lose two games to them. Apex will most likely lose to liquid and CLG, which is one thing they have in their favor. NV losing to Fox has about the same odds of P1 beating IMT.

I mean, TSM already has a playoff bye, along with IMT, so there's no purpose in trying as hard. :/

Its a double edge sword for me about the loss to P1. On one side they lost to the 2nd worst team in the NA LCS maybe the worst team as far as Star players on the team and also counting record wise. It will be very interesting to see how TSM bounces back to such a loss. You know they must be very shocked and upset.

On the other I'm happy that TSM lost to a team and ruined their perfect record, at the start of the season and half way through the split multiple TSM players have said that they don't care about perfect records they just want to get better and improve as a team and to be honest I saw TSM react as a team in all 3 of those games. Losing before playoffs is also a big + as they can fix on how to react to Loss and move on from it.

P1 played a very aggressive play style that we haven't seen from them all season Long so I wouldn't be surprised if P1 watched how Immortals played TSM earlier in the split and played like Immortals( Aggressive and with no remorse). A part of me also thinks that Immortals coaching staff or players themselves also helped with P1 on how to beat TSM( HOPE I'M WRONG cause I don't want to take anything away from P1 but they pretty much sucked for 7 weeks in a row and all a sudden their playing well enough not to be 100% Garbage ?

I'm bummed that TSM finally lost because they have been amazing this split and are really giving NA hope for worlds. Credit to P1 for how they've turned around after going winless the first half of the split. In a way, I am kinda glad TSM had it handed it to them the way they did; it is better they get that kind of wakeup call now instead of during playoffs. I would have been really upset if they instead lost the same way that Liquid lost game 3 to CLG yesterday.
