The top ten junglers currently (OPINION)
- GRF Tarzan Tarzan has been a menace ever since he entered LCK. His pathing is one of the best I've ever seen, he's decisive when it comes to ganking vs farming, and at times he outright carries Griffin to wins. He has a really wide champ pool, most notably his Olaf, Elise, Sejuani, Nocturne and Trundle. He just seems like the smartest jungler out there and has been probably the biggest key to Griffin's success.
- FPX Tian Far and away the best jungler in LPL. He and Doinb are the playmakers of the team, constantly 4 man diving bot and making plays on the map. He's definitely the most aggressive jungler out there, but unlike some other aggressive junglers (cough Ning cough) he knows when to tone it back and avoids losing situations. He's definitely one of the best out there, and I'm very much hopeful that he goes to Worlds.
- SKT Clid I sincerely believe that Clid is currently the best player on SKT. A really consistent player (besides the hiccup that was beginning of LCK Summer) that shines on picks like Lee, J4, and Sylas, he consistently gets his lanes leads and is the backbone of SKT. His early game isn't quite as good as that of Tarzan/Tian's but he's the one, I feel, that keeps SKT afloat in the early game so that they can work their mid and late game magic.
- SB OnFleek Sandbox Gaming, despite being one of the top teams in LCK, haven't garnered as much attention as Griffin, Damwon, or SKT. They play a heavily macro-oriented style that focuses on splitting side lanes and using TP advantage. That being said, OnFleek is their navigator throughout the early game, and is an absolute menace on champs like Xin Zhao and Lee Sin.
- FNC Broxah Broxah (imo) is the best jungler in EU by a sliver, as he's shown to be a bigger part of Fnatic's success than (see below)'s on G2 (did you guys figure it out?) Broxah is another amazing Lee Sin player, and along with his Gragas and Elise is one of the best early game aggressors in the west.
- G2 Jankos Jankos is also an amazing jungler, but I decided to put him below Broxah because to me, Fnatic without Broxah is worse off than G2 without Jankos. One of the old guard of lol junglers, Jankos has one of the biggest champion pools, pulling out surprise picks like Pyke and Qiyana, but is also really good at standard junglers.
- DWG Canyon The (somewhat controversial) 2019 LCK Summer Split MVP, Canyon at peak form looks like the best jungler in the world, making insane plays (like the rest of his teammates) and asserting his presence throughout the map. He has high KP but relatively low KS and GPM, showcasing his more supportive nature in DWG (even though he makes le insane plays). That being said, he can sometimes just disappear entirely like in game 2 vs Gen G last week.
- C9 Svenskeren The first NA jungler! Sven, throughout 2019, has shown that he's the best NA jungler (imo, by far) and the only one that can really balance safety with aggression. He consistently gets Nisqy and Licorice leads and thus trickles down those leads to botside, often carrying and snowballing entire games for C9. Definitely C9's MVP (and probably NA LCS MVP as well) as with Blaber (who is also a pretty good jungler for NA), C9 looked a bit more lost. The reason I can't put him higher is because he hasn't really played against any good junglers other than Xmithie and Meteos. The rest of NA junglers looked ... (no comment)
- RNG Karsa RNG's fallen a bit off as of late, but Karsa has remained one of the best junglers in the LPL. Even with RNG's bot-heavy playstyle, Karsa still manages to pick up resources. I really think him and Xiaohu work really well together and are one of the better mid-jungle pairings in the world, as even though Uzi gets a lot of the resources from RNG, Karsa/Xiaohu find avenues to carry.
- TES Xx With so much of the attention on TES going to Knight9 (and rightfully so), a lot of people tend to forget Knight's enablor, Xx. Xx has sneakily been really, really good. He's basically the reason why Knight9 can play as aggressively as he does, as Xx seems to always be there when Knight is making a play.
So, thoughts on my top 10? I tried to give short explanations for each (without diving too much into stats, because stats are relative to the league each are playing in). This is mostly eye test, a little bit of stats. Any junglers that you guys think should be on here?
