Huge TSM fan. Have been since day 1. Will be a TSM fan until there's no more TSM. I've backed these guys through thick and thin.
And I think they need to miss worlds this year. I think its the slap in the face they need. I think it'll make them do some soul searching as an org and as a team, and I think they'd come back from it better than ever.

I say they earn it if they get it. But if they get it those expectations are going to be very low. Like eliminated at Play Ins low.

GeminiRune1 votesThey have had hopeful rosters in the past, so expectations were justified. Since Yellowstar however, the hope waned big time as star power and super team logic for the sake of it stopped becoming an essential factor for the org unlike others, especially in the present.
If the NA narrative was step by step - "we'll do our best" rather than "we'll win worlds" - then frankly it's just easier to back. Its why I feel the NA fandom cannot bounce their support among its victors or best compared to other major regions. And that just makes the value of what Doublelift said this time compared to others matter a bit more (albeit hashed anyway by other teammates)

Seems like u don't watch LCK anymore lmao. The become from "not making it to worlds" to "making it to finals in LCK" SKT now looks much stronger team, they adapted to the bullshit meta, and I guarantee u, they gonna win worlds this year.

Third was tons of gold and wings with plenty of reds. I'd hope IF they win #4, they more closely mimic the uniforms the players wear, primarily black, with red and gold emblems. Tall order though, but given their run since Rift Rivals it's hard to picture SKT not being a top favorite.

III BAKURYU III 1 votesTSM looks to be the last NA team to qualify for Worlds I mean, I doubt Clutch will be able to pull off a SKT and run the gauntlet and CLG while they look good ATM TSM are 7-1 against them the last 2 years(1-1 this split). Push comes to shove I think TSM will win the gauntlet.

First they kick sven and dlift who both go on to be on the two best NA teams, then they make a miracle comeback only to shoot themselves in the foot by benching Akaadian. Basically TSM just turns good players into mediocre or shit players. Until they get rid of Parth or bring Akaadian back and kick Zven, they're gonna continue spiraling downwards. Tbh I just feel bad for Bjergsen, he should go to TL or 100T to actually have a shot at winning.
III BAKURYU III 1 votesEveryone talks about Parth and while I do think Parth is a C- coach he hasn't really been the "coach" since 2017. Ssong was TSM's coach in 2018 and even brought in Lustboy as the co-captain coach before Parth during that span. Zikz has been TSM's coach in 2019 and not Parth. So I don't fully understand the topic on Parth.
The constant variable on TSM all this time has been Bjergsen.
Regi hasn't really shown up to help TSM like the past when they were down in games/series because A.) he wants them to figure it out on their own and B.) he's been dealing with his own personal situation(Leena and him breaking up) so it's not like this deep, dark abyss of sorts that players enter TSM they are doomed, it's been Bjergsen.
Bjergsen's passiveness and overall, do nothing for 40+ mins gets TSM in hot water more times than not. If he joins 100 Thieves than I do see the team being overall good but will he finally GET IT and actually play aggressive and not just this Go even in lane only player? Who knows
Team Liquid isn't going to pick up Bjergsen over Jensen. + Many former TSM players have stated that they don't want to rejoin TSM/play with Bjergsen. Amazing disliked playing(camping for BJergsen) that he literally left in 2014 after the Summer split/Worlds that year after 1 split on TSM. So, Amazing will either A.) Bite his lip and play with Bjergsen again or B.) leave and if Amazing leaves who replaces him? Fragas from 100 Thieves Academy? I think we've seen enough from 100 T's academy( FakeGod, Soligo, Anda) to know they aren't ready yet.
So don't, don't "feel bad for Bjergsen" when in reality it's been his own faul for TSM's failures for some time now. Talented? - YES Great player? - YES Overrated? - YES
It was Bjergsen's decision to bring in the "Best in the West" Zven and Mithy after TSM kicked D-Lift and Biofrost.
Also, it's kinda funny how every top laner(Dyrus/Hauntzer/BB) on TSM gets camped 24/7 but Bjergsen isn't ever there to help. TSM's junglers(Amazing, Santorin, Svenskeren, Mikeyeung, Grigg, Akaadian,) are notoriously known as "ward bots" for who? Again, the constant variable has been Bjergsen.
Akaadian has more than likely played his final game on TSM. Leena from TSM(Regi's X) doesn't even like Akaadian. He must have done something that just pissed off everyone within the org. (There's talk that he talked about Zven and that's what set the team spiraling downwards.
