I just had that thought. Since there are no people making checks or drug tests in esports, there have to be at least some people who must have tried it and gotten away with it, with the sport becoming more and more serious over time.
EpikFeeder1 votesI believe Thorin has made a youtube video on the subject.

I mean, what kind of drug could make you perform better in a video game?
There are a couple just off the top of my head.
ADHD drugs to increase concentration and decrease reaction times.
Beta Blockers to steady the nerves.
I don't recall any drug or doping scandals in lol though. Doesn't mean there aren't any. Just that I can't recall any. I don't even know if lol tests for any or what the lol rules are on the subject.
Mat7itan3 votesAdderall is probably the biggest. It's for ADHD so it helps you focus better.
LinoWidge1 votesIn CS:GO I've heard of players getting in trouble for using adderall & other stimulants to increase reaction speed & attentiveness. Never heard about it in the LoL Scene though...
Hardstuck G41 votesNot drugs off the top of my head, but there was an incident in Season 2(1?) of cheating. Azubu Frost's Woong and TSM's Dyrus both checked the minimap for the other team during a pause in the QF. The game was remade, and any other reported incidents would result in an instant DQ.

They have also had various behavioral suspensions of pro players as well.
