All 5 of TSM's members are in the top 10 stats wise. This is looking like one of their best seasons yet. I'm liking Biofrost so far, he matches DL's aggression well. Sven is playing aggressively as well, getting Hauntzer AND Bjerg snowballed. Tsm is in top form, lets hope they keep it up

I like a number of things.

Much more complicated than that. Supp, top and Jungle were ALL major upgrades. BioFrost looks amazing.
As much as I like Yellowstar, I really believe that having him, Bjerg and DLift on one rift was just too much noise. BioFrost seems to match VERY well with DLift. And forget about Lustboy...
For sure Hauntzer is a massive upgrade over a tired Dyrus but Sven is also much better than a burned out Santorin (despite his success last weekend.)

It helps out when the leaders are few and the followers are many.
Idk if I agree with MrPharmD " #1 thing is that they got rid of their shitty top laner " sure Dyrus wasn't doing great at the end of his career. I mean after 3 professional years in the NA LCS with 6 Straight finals and countless International tournaments who wouldn't get a little burned out.

Yea. Im not 100% sure what the deal with Santorin was/is..
For sure, his last split at TSM he was really bad.
Then he said he would likely never play competitively again and was gonna try to stream.
Maybe he just never got the followers to make streaming viable?? Because he showed up on the EU scene fairly soon after and was still really bad.
Then rolled into NA and does seem to be doing quite a bit better..
III BAKURYU III 1 votesYeah I think on a all ready established team such as TSM; a team that doesn't want to just win NA but Worlds got to Santorin and it wasn't a good first splits as a rookie in the LCS.
It was like a 5 year old swimming in the Ocean for the first time you know.
He didn't and still doesn't gank but it was a real strategy(OLD ONE AT THAT MIND YOU) to just camp mid and that was really TSM's Falling apart but now they have more than just Bjergsen to carry.
Dyrus -Get camped, die, overextend for 2 cs die. Santorin-Never ganked, only farmed still wasn't a factor even with all his farming. Wildturtle and Lustboy- it was a mix bag as far as their getting caught meme as it was also a lack of team help and faith to help them get out of situations.
I felt last year TSM was playing not to lose instead of playing to win. So the stalled out their games for an average of like 42-44 mins a game in the summer split.
Santorin is in a better environment now with NRG sure their not winning but its no real pressure on them as no one is expecting them to bet in top #3 for NA non-less make it to worlds. Kiwikid and Quas seems like chill out dudes that just want to chill and play League, and I rarely seem them get angry or upset so that helps santorin to just play and stay confident.

I think they are mostly a false team.
Seraph (especially) and Ninja are solid. But I dont like their bot lane.
Results: They beat NRG and TL. Then beat P1 and Apex
So they have yet to platy IMT, C9 or CLG. (And they beat TL week one when TL was wretched.)
As far as Im concerned, they havent beaten anyone.
This week they play IMT then CLG so we will know more Sunday evening. I expect them to be 4-2 after this week.

Also I'm still not sold on Seraph sure hes having a great split but this is still the same dude who did some dumb plays back in 2014 with CLG and made a joke out of himself.

I think LOD and Hakuro are "just guys" . Not terrible. But certainly not top tier at their positions. If I recall correctly, they have both bounced back and forth between challenger and LCS. And that is where I would rate them as well. Marginal LCS talent.
I mean how would you compare DLift, Turtle , Stixxay, Sneaky even Ohq to LOD. I would put LOD in the bottom half of NA LDCs.
Same with Hakuro vs Fufu, Aphro, Probably a little closer here as I find supports often harder to rank. But is Hakuro better than XSpecial or Smoothie or Adrian?? IDK. Probably not.
Yea, I agree with you about CLG. Massive disappointment so far. Especially Zion. NO idea what has happened to him since the end of Spring but he as bad at MSI. And bad so far during summer.
Still, I think CLG has enough talent to beat Envy, maybe 2-1 but still a CLG win. (I would expect CLG to adjust better between games so the best of 3 will benefit them.)
anonymous1191 votesTL and clg were in big slumps when they played tsm. Clg has a lack of practice on the current patch and darshann has been struggling since MSI. TL looked terrible with out dardoch and when he was swapped in it was with no practice with the team. I wouldn't claim apex to be any thing more than a middle of the pack team.
TSM adapted better and faster to a new patch than the rest of the teams in the NA lcs, but whether or not they sustain it is too soon to tell. It's disappointing in general how weak all of the non top 3 teams look in NA at the moment.

Hey man nice talking to you again. I remember the last time we did it was a large argument so I am sorry about that. But I am just wondering when I am watching the games whether NA is really bad or really good. The main reason for this is the results of MSI and also the comparison of NA to EU at the moment. I mean CLG just made it to the finals. And while yes, RNG might have made it if they had gone against CLG, that still makes CLG the number 3 finisher. And then they come back over and are getting stomped, which is not being shown by teams such as G2. I feel like another this is if we look at the EU games there are often throws and it honestly looks as much like solo que as NA did last year. I wont deny that NA looked bad in a lot of scenarios last year. But this split NA has been looking pretty crisp in it's play. Definitely not Korea level of cleanliness, not even close. But when teams win it isn't as much one team throwing as it is one team playing it out really well or an individual player making an amazing play. For example in the game where C9 lost to Pheonix 1 that you mentioned before I felt like while it was a poor performance by C9 in the early game, you could see they were clawing their way back in near the late game, but then it was a good teamfight by P1 at baron that won them the game. And while yes you could say that is C9 throwing I would personally say that it is good to see from P1 since in a lot of the games they have lost so far they have gotten early leads but then can't translate it into late game. So I find it very interesting to see. Also with the IMT vs TSM games I think we can see where NA has improved a lot. In those games when a team won it was an absolutely clean stomp which shows that teams know how to finish out games and not stall it out for no reason. meanwhile EU players openly admit that they are screwing around in scrims. So tbh maybe this is just by comparison but I find that NA has been looking pretty good this split and I look forward to seeing how they do when worlds comes around

I love watching new Talent and biofrost is a pure beast, can't say much else here he should of had man of the match, its a joke he hasn't by now to be honest.
Bjerg/sven are still in my questionable pool, however i can't fault bjerg on a pro level just a personal one (i don't like him) but his vlad was scary, it was more a ''yo guys, this is how you play vlad, now gtfo my lane'' - evens stepped up and is looking fantastic but again i just don't like him.

B00B001 votesHe always wanted to be in the limelight and want to be the carry, now when he joined TSM this mentality carried on, and from the team around him too, TSM could of and would of in my opinion of been a lot better by now if he was not this way, the game moved on and he stayed exactly the same.
TSM and Bjerg have now started playing differently and their gold charts show that and i commend them for that but i do not like Bjerg for the reasons above, i also in addition to that feel like he is a talented but rather single-minded player and i think TSM would do better with someone more flexible.
hope that makes sense its hard to explain how i feel really about Bjerg, like i said though so far THIS split i cannot really adhere to my own opinion as he's somewhat different right now, so things have obviously been worked on and him approached.
