That is because Akaadian's teammates had to carry his dead weight through nearly every game. There is no one there to carry Zven when he finally makes one or two mistakes. This is because HE IS having to carry Akaadian's dead weight. Or in this context, Akaadian's amazing plays consistently for TL. You can't blame everything on Zven for one mistake. Watch every game in their entirety. Not just a highlight or when the casters start getting loud because there is a team fight happening.

Are you really saying that an entire split of domination was ruined by one bad play? Sure it might have cost the game, but one bad play in finals doesnt discount all the great plays he made earlier.

Even on the play why is Broken Blade trying to style on a Vlad that has come on line such that he can't style on any more when Vlad has TP and he doesn't? Vlad escapes TPs in and LQ has a nice 5 on 3 with Broken Blade having to walk all the way across the map. Smoothie gets caught with a hand in the cookie jar before Broken blade can even get there, so now the baron is lost. Sure Zven triggered it, but he isn't the only one people could point at there. Even after that play, it's not like TSM suddenly had 3 inhibs down. After that Baron, the entirety of TSM pretty much collapsed. Zven was just one of 5. The deciding team fight occurred at Elder. Smoothie too far forward, first to die. Broken Blade goes for broke into the back line when the rest of his team is not in position. He then picks the wrong target, and Vlad separates the team and that fight is over. Zven also made a huge mistake toward the end of this team fight and arguably, his and other mistakes by TSM in this fight are what really cost them the game. TL finally takes the gold lead after they take Elder. But just barely. Back to the baron again we go and once again it's Smoothie that gets popped. Great play by Jensen. TSM is divided and separated, which happened all too easily and DL pops Akadian and Bjergsen, So there was quite a bit of choking to go around there. It wasn't just Zven.

Sure Zven's was the most obvious mistake. But there were plenty to go around. TSM just didn't react well at all after that happened. Liquid did what TSM used to do back when TSM was on top. They pulled it out.
