Pyke in Summer Split?

What patch will summer split NA LCS being playing and will Pyke be available? I can't wait to see Smoothie playing Pyke. His style fits with Pyke's kit.

Checking the schedule, the LCS returns June 16. Patch 8.11 (with Pyke) should hit tomorrow (May 31st) That means the patch will be live for 2 weeks before the LCS starts The LCS plays on patches 1 week after the patch goes live, so they'll be on Patch 8.11 to start HOWEVER The LCS delays the use of new champions until the patch after they go live. In this case, Patch 8.12

So unless there's any special exceptions, then the soonest Pyke will be available in the LCS is Week 2 of the Summer Split.

I wouldn't say Pyke fits Smoothie best, if anything I would fear him more in Olleh's hands, but that's assuming Pyke is a top support and composition pick.

Yes, I most definitely fear Olleh with Pyke, Aphromoo also. But since I'm a C9 fan, and Smoothie is a great roaming support, I can see Pyke being a great weapon for C9.

I don't see Aphromoo being great with Pyke, not like Olleh or Smoothie. Aphro has a tendency to get himself caught in bad spots when playing those aggressive supports. I can imagine Bunny FuFu might also be a terror with this champ, since he's an aggressive Thresh main and the Q ability each has is similar enough.
