How good is Jensen?
Personally, I think he might be the best player in the world right now. His mechanics and game sense this season have been pretty insane.
I'm interested to hear what you guys think of his game play and where he ranks worldwide.

Including LCK? As someone who watches NA/LCK/LPL/EU very heavily, I wouldn't actually rank him anywhere near my top-10 best players in the world, and wouldn't exactly rank him as the best mid-laner in NA right now (with pobelter having a massive "carry resurgance" and bjerg continuing to do stuff). I'll put down my list of the "best players in the world" right now, feel free to disagree:
NA
-Biofrost (9.8KDA right now, also arguably the biggest reason why TSM is doing so well right now) -Bjerg/Pobelter (best mid-laners in NA right now, former is on pace to have more than 150 kills this season whereas latter is overperforming and making up for Huni/Reignover's slow season) -Doublelift (best ADC in NA right now, on pace for the highest DPM of his career)
LCK
-Bang/Wolf (arguably been the best players on a "loaded" SKT lineup, are making up for Duke/Faker's abysmal season) -Score/Fly (one of the biggest reasons why KT is at the top of the tables)
LPL
-Clearlove (without question my "vote" for best player in the world right now, watch him play and you'll be inspired heavily to play jg, as he makes the most incredible outplays look scarily simple and is on pace to have a "record year" for jg's across the globe)
If i said i liked Jensen at all i would lying. Im not denying his skill but if someone is toxic regularly by choice, that is simply the kind of person that they are. Jensen was a very toxic player before he signed professionally and he would continue to be "that kind" of player if he werent marketed and contractually obligated to behave. He's not "reformed" he's just paying the cost to do business so to speak. That cost is to refrain from being the asshole that he inherently wants to be.
Thats just what i think of him.
I'd say he is the top 3 mid laner in NA

His mecahnics are good but his decision making can be pretty bad sometimes. He is like a discount bjerson in my opinion
I don't know about "best player in the world"-Lugg but to each our own. #Respect that, but I don't think he would be in the top 30 personally myself.
Like BIDOFF said "his decision making can be pretty bad sometimes" nail on the head on that one with my thoughts as well. He dies in some of the most mind blowing ways that I thought wasn't possible.
He was also once a toxic banned player in solo Q so even if he has grown from that stage, bad habits can still make their way back and if he was toxic in solo q games imagine on stage when his team might be down 0-10 or if he is 0-7.
However when he joined C9 he became a star overnight and had some great games and outplays, however its a 2 way street with him,
A. He Joined C9 which at the point of joining was already a powerhouse team in NA for years with Hai-Sneaky-Lemon-Balls-Meteos-Bunny-Rush etc.
B. With Hai/Meteos that took shot calling pressure off him, which can make or break young stars. In which they have to be a star and call plays for everyone and that isn't the best for a player that has to carry games but like I said he already he had a stable team and foundation to start from.
C. He will become a veteran for NA in the next split or two, which means he will be looked at from other teams to find his weakness and breaking points at that point will be easier to find. When he first joined he was a rookie and teams had a hard time preparing for him and to study his habits as he was a rookie but now that he has 2 splits under his belt its much easier.
Overall Jensen is a great player and mid laner but he isn't the best in the world or in NA. Great post and Have a Good One

Not even best player in NA. Top 5 definitely. But top 5 individual players in the world are all in Korea, Faker still being undisputed #1 player in the world.
