TSM, back to square one

I think the MSI has shown that TSM's strategy and gameplay cannot win on the international scene. It iworks against average teams, but great teams destroy them utterly. Leaving your top lane totally on their own, what idiot came up with that one? Anyone with a shred of common sense knows that a smart team will abuse that so bad that you can't win. Bjerg on champs that can't roam? Dyrus on non tank champs? TSM needs to fire their coach and analysts and start over if they actually want to ever have a chance of winning worlds.

JMO:

TSM has so far won NA with:

  1. Have the best mid laner in NA win his lane
  2. Other lanes go even or at least just don't lose too hard
  3. Bjergsen carries or snowballs lead into other lanes
  4. TSM wins!

Note that this strategy relies on #1 being true. If #1 doesn't come to pass, then TSM usually loses. Many of the games they lost this season have been games where Bjergsen gets shut down (the Keane Urgot game vs Zed comes to mind) and the strategy falls apart because the other lanes can't pick up the slack.

Now in international play, there are A LOT stronger mids compared to the NA scene so point #1 doesn't come to pass. There are also a lot stronger players in the other positions as well, so #2 also doesn't come to pass. Hence, the entire strategy falls apart.

I think you mean square negative one. This last showing was worse than all those before it.

They need to do a lot more than that. Dyrus should retire and at this point Wildturtle should probably be benched. I think Reggie should sell his team to a better owner and Riot should learn to make money on teams not named TSM.

Guys the patch hasn't been going all that long. They won IEM not long ago. I'm sure they will be in shape for worlds. I must agree that Dyrus is a detriment though. It's really upsetting. Also, not sure where Santorin's head was the last couple of days- he was a dream send most of the season. I mean, in the game vs FNC he ganked zero times all game.

TSM isn't even playing their game, don't post things when you don't know what you are talking about

They are picking weird things and playing in a weird way, thing be different if they played like how they did in the NA LCS, but they are pretty much playing like a Bronze team in Challenger; they did not play this way to beat NA because they would have been relegated if they did

Or TSM could just work on helping make their jungler better. If what we see here is the jungler as the biggest weakness it is a weakness they can sure up. Not by replacing Santorin just helping him to become a better player.
