Can TL ever not become the team that always chokes?

Come on NA. get it together.

I think Doublelift is just a liability. You can’t claim to be building your team for international success and have an ADC that’s never had international success.

Jensen won something? MSI or Worlds?

International success is also not being eliminated every time in groups, like DLift has been for god fucking knows how many splits. Jensen has been the midlaner that got NA to world's semis and to MSI finals. DL is supposed to be this really good adc and gets all these resources and he still can't carry games. Just buy a Korean adc TL. Or is doublelift too important for merch sales? xDD

The biggest difference was between CoreJJ and MikyX honestly. Miky played out of his mind.

And Jankos ganked bot in all 3 games early, while Xmithie wasn't there for the counterganks.

TL needs a new jungler, one that can actually coordinate with the team and make proactive plays.

Facts! Though I don’t fault Xmithie. The bot lane was a clown fiesta. DL and JJ got completely exposed.

NA even lucky CoreJJ hard carried TL to the finals over IG.

Blame your loser ADC.

Well, true he carried the semifinal. He is a very good support, just not today.

And what games did DL carry? In the carry position. Just buy Ruler.

Not really, I think coaching stuff of TL made 2 straight up stupid drafts after being decimated 1st game. They never surprised anyone with their picks. CoreJJ was the sole reason they were in those finals, Impact and Jensen held their own against Theshy and Rookie can't take that away from them.

Doublelift was supposed to win lane. Xmithie never helped his sololaners and was 9/10 times trying to put bot ahead. And frankly, Dlift+CoreJJ should always stomp an autofill ADC and a support that hasn't played with said ADC for 3 months or so.

Talk about boring.

Worst.

Finals.

Ever.

Oh yeah...it is after the tournament now....

Well at least they (notably TL) didn't roll over and die in groups again.

You guys did well during the tournament, TL did what TSM could never do in years of international presence.

NA teams though seem to get really sleepy when the tension gets high. Game 2 was enjoyable on both fronts for the most part because both teams were studying and poking the enemy yet NA always ends up playing like they believe the don't belong there so they just do damage control instead of being proactive, building a strategy and put it in place.

I don't even think game 2 was close. G2 were making bad decisions and picking fight after fight after fight for 3 games, if it was IG/sKT and G2 had tried the same plays we wouldn't be having an EU MSI champ.

It's like they drafted the same thing 3 times, played the same strat 3 times and expected different outcome. like.....WTF

Stars Shaper1 votes

Except G2 did that because they knew that was TL weakness and this is further proven by the fact that G2 did win 3-0.

If they went against IG no1 can really tell what would happen, yet I think it wouldn’t be so against G2 as some of you are saying and the argument itself looks like a poor excuse to “counter” the EU > NA stuff.

Saezio1 votes

First off, I am an EU fan. Secondly, EU>>NA since the league's inception and the case has never been different. Third, the point is that if G2 was facing one of the other teams, they would have to try more for plays or try different stuff in a Bo5, TL were just shitting their pants in every skirmish. That is why I said "if g2 tried the same plays vs skt/ig" G2 could still win vs the other teams, but I don't think it would be as easy as vs TL. IG underestimated TL severely and got clapped for it, Baolan and Ning were making mistake after mistake after mistake in that series.
