How can u still be having problems with the client after 10 years?!?!

i have to open league 2-3 times just for it to initiate a launch, and when im in the client half the time buttons dont work or wont load, and i get error msgs saying try again...

How are you people still making skins and not fixing the client or the many known gameplay bugs???

Legit just go back to the original client that didnt have 300,000 more things added to lag and crash.

What was actually wrong with a basic client from the legacy? They just want the client to be a Giant AD with banners and icons ribbons. it's crap man I just want to play the video game

It was a slow, archaic adobe air client.

It was terrible and honestly did need replacing.

The new one somehow manages to be just as terrible while having fewer features.

It's a piss off for sure. Legacy client was old, but at least it wasn't as faulty as this trash. Multi million dollar company and still has a trash client. There should still be an option to use legacy client. Loot is bugged half the time, emotes don't load, rune pages take forever to load in champ select, get stuck on loading screen says 100% but then you get in the game a minute late. I've seen it all and quite frequently. You would think that they cared about the peoples opinions who are getting them income, but they're not. Eventually this will kill Riot and I hope sooner rather than later.

Once Diablo 4 is out I will forget that this game ever existed. Garbage client, matchmaking is stupid, balance is horrible. I will pretend that this game never existed. Cannot wait for that.

I would like have the conditions to play Diablo 4 too, it look very great. And it would be great just to make me leave this game.

simple answers

these threads get downvoted on lol reddit. aka the only place where riot gives a fuck about the feedback
as alrdy said, fixing bugs doesnt make money. but requires people to fix them so that actually costs money
chinese client is different. i didnt play enough on china to tell if their client is stable but it is (slightly) different than ours. aka they most likely have no problems so tencent doesnt care

these are the 3 reasons why the main tool needed to play the game is buggy since day 1 for over 10 years now.

if anyone has any logical arguments that can tell me why every company is able to have a better client and why a huge company like riot isnt able to hire 2 students that studied this shit to make a new client, then im happy to hear them.

On one hand, games will always have bugs no matter how much you test them

On the other hand, Riot punishes you over their client being shit and is slower to fix their issues than most companies

Just cuz they dont invest their time into renewing the new client a bit faster dosnt mean that they are shit compani did you not see what they are working on there is preseason nw TFT rise of elements just came out so obisuly there are bugs cuz of that and project A F L are coming and Legends of runetera ur just a lil crybaby cuz they dont fix one bug in 10 sec [galio-happy]

What's annoying is that I can't even get Hextech loot chests sitting at 4/4. Because getting a S grade does not register for them. And they can't do anything about it either.

Or at least refund me my LP I lost due to myself or others DCing at the beginning of the game after connection and therefore not allowing a remake when one should be allowed.
