Twitch Stream Needs a Mute Crowd Button

Obviously one of the worst World’s Crowds in recent memory. They have the personality and excitement of roadkill. Can’t be bothered to make a sound unless a Chinese team pulls off some kind of glorious feat.

The Casters are clearly trying to make them sound more excited than they actually are, inserting obvious fake plugs. “The crowd here is so explosive and loud,” while the crowd is picking their noses and whiping it under their seat. I understand trying to make it sound like your Worlds’ crowd is good and all, but you aren’t fooling anyone.

If they can’t be bothered to get into any of these games unless their home team is pulling comebacks, then RIOT should mute them when they decide to start their obligatory halfhearted “RNG” chant 35 mins into the game.

Seriously though. They are void of any kind of emotion. Noise and excitement can’t even match an NA regular season game.

Is this post serious? Im gonna guess you A. Arent actually there, and B. Youve never yourself been to an NA regular season game. If I am correct, then how would you even know how loud anything is? Seems like just another salty TSM fan tbh.

I mean it is in a communist country. They probably only get to cheer when signaled to honestly.

During game I can see how you'd see this as they ARE chinese and to them having multiple teams perform well at worlds is a massive rarity. After game I'd argue that they're probably one of the better crowds as they have shown willingness to cheer for any team that isn't korean. Misfits took SKT to 5 games, they cheer for misfits with a few player-specific chants in the audience as well. Fnatic goes 4 games with RNG, they cheer for Fnatic with a massive pop for rekkles when he chooses not to bow with his team. Barring a few extreme cases (Los Angeles Chargers being a recent notable one that I'd reccomend youtubing to see how bad it is), the Home team will always have priority from the audience regardless if they win or lose. They don't want other teams to win, they want theirs to win, hence why they spend money on tickets to attend these things. If they choose only to cheer for massive plays, then why complain? If anything it'll encourage the teams to make more of them.

Overall, if you had told me "I have no familiarity with any sort of sports and/or team based events" at the beginning, you may have nabbed a petty upvote from me. Sadly, your unfamiliarity with the notion of "home" and "away" games kinda makes me giggle.
