CLG proved that NA is no longer inferior to the other regions. We're actually a threat now. We can compete internationally. We can WIN internationally.
I think that's something we oughta be proud of.
CLG played like NA's spirit. Reckless and exciting. Sorry but I watch some of the other regions games and they are very boring because they are so methodical. Only one region plays as reckless as NA and that is EU.
However we do see that the fact of the matter is that this game is not KDA oriented but objective primary. CLG arguably won more teamfights mostly because they kept catching Duke tripping too far in lane. When CLG loses one man they back off. When SKT loses one man they go on about their business. That got Faker killed a number of times. However that methodical farming slow approach wins in the late game as we see in this series.
Early game SKT is stronger, MID game CLG takes it, and late game SKT trumps all. Bottom line both teams need to find new top laners. Duke is too cocky and that get him killed and Darshan is dead weight at least on Poppy.
I like watching EU and NA games because they are exciting. The last time the far East regions had an exciting and reckless team was OMG, and look where they are now. The once thought to be unbeatable were destroyed by slow methodical gameplay.
While G2 shows that EU fucked up.
they chocked in the finals which is expected but otherwise put up a great tournament
