Real sports give each side 50% chance to win.

In fact it's pretty much the definition of a competitive sport

What? No in real sports the better one has a bigger chance. If each side just had a 50% chance it wouldn't be competitive. League is not a sport btw it's an esport.

This isn't completely accurate. Most sports have some advantage to the better team in the regular season come playoff time. Think of how the NHL playoffs are set up. You get 4 home games versus 3 away games if you are the best team in the league. This is a huge advantage. So it isn't completely 50-50 chance for both teams. Certain things such as ice conditions and the rebounds off of boards may not seem like a big deal to any amateur observer, but in the professional ranks these are huge advantages. Not to mention things such as crowd noise etc.

The reason an esport would have more trouble becoming a real sport is the ever evolving landscape of technology. A baseball game is pretty much the same now as it was in the early 1900s. The hardware for computers in 100 years will be incredible compared to what we have today, and very likely the gaming will go in the same direction. As such it will be tough for a game to have a professional scene for more than 10 to 15 years. At which point players may go to the next iteration of the game. Maybe League of Legends 2 or whatever is the new top professional gaming environment. Before Tower Defense it was Real Time Strategy and before that it was First Person Shooter. There is no way to tell what might be in professional gaming. But I will continue to love this game and stick around for the ride until there is the next big thing which shouldn't be for awhile... I hope.

Donuts and mountain dew by a desk doesn't sound very sportslike to me

Apparently you don't know what football is...or soccer...or lacrosse...or track...or cross country...or basketball...like some teams being more skilled than others and having better players lol. Bad.

sport spôrt/Submit noun 1. an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment. "team sports such as baseball and soccer" synonyms: (competitive) game(s), physical recreation, physical activity, physical exercise, athletics; pastime "we did a lot of sports"

No matter what you say, calling League a sport is just laughable.
