Will C9 beat WE?

Unlikely, WE stomped MSF, TSM, and FW; looking very good in all of their games except 1. We mid laner is at least equal to Jensen, the WE bot lane is better, the top lane could go either way (but likely to be tank v tank), and jungle is likely WE favored. Overall it looks like WE is better throughout the entire game and has equal or better players everywhere.

That said MSF improved a lot and it is possible that C9 will improve their weaknesses. Plus this has been an unpredictable group stage overall with far more parity than most people expected. The question is if people overhyped how good SKT would be just because they are SKT, and LZ because they saw LCK playoffs and ignored the LCK season where LZ and samsong were equals.

C9 winning would be an upset I would predict only a 25% chance for C9 to win. I hope they win because I would love to have a western team get into the semi finals( also be the first time an NA would make it into the semis). I feel like to win they need to play their style of having pressure in the jungle with a strong mid lane champion (so I guess their style).

Any upset it possible. We almost saw SKT lose to a team that was in the Challenger Series last year.

Will they? Maybe. It's impossible to know for sure. Can they? Yes.

I hope so. At this point my pick'em is screwed anyways.

The best reason to think C9 can is because WE is the 3rd best chinese team and C9 was able to take a game away from EDG. They could have taken both games but they let EDG get both J4 and Galio while not picking shen before he was banned.
