Wukong in pro play

With Wukong being very strong since the release of the new , why doesn't he see more play in pro games. His kit seems like it would be great for that level play.

Easy to roflstomp on sololane, slow and painful jungle with huge rampup time.

Wukong is just weak in solo lanes. And LCS tends to lane swap.
Just like Akali, his invis is too easily countered by pink wards and so it doesn't do much for you.
Too easy to knock back with Grag or Janna.

I think you could overcome lane swaps just like most tops do, just double jungle till you are level 3. Most pros don't even buy a pink ward until laning phase is almost over. Yes he can be knocked back, but that applies to plenty of other champs that are played as well.

well, pro´s are always hesitant to pick up new champs, especially if they are a little riskier...as his waveclear isn´t good before hydra you can sort of abuse his sololane - but he sure would be viable as last/counterpick mid and top. For jungle he just doesn´t fit the early-pressure-meta (though many teams really fail to abuse their early pressure anyway - so there´s really no reason to not go for it).
