SKT Garunteed A Worlds Slot Again?

Correct me if my understanding is wrong. For LCK, the Summer Split champs are Garunteed a worlds slot. SKT already got knocked out by KT Rolster so that is impossible now. However, the team with the highest Championship Points count lands the second place seed.

Even though SKT is knocked out, they still have their 90 Championship Points from winning the spring split. ROX, the almost definite first place, got 70, and KT Rolster got 50. Assuming that ROX will win(almost definitely) KT Rolster, being second place, will get their 90, since ROX just gets auto qualified and doesn't receive points. SKT, 3rd place, gets 70.

So SKT would have 90 + 70 = 160 and KT Rolster would still only have 90 + 50 = 140. Correct me if I'm wrong, this means even though KR beat SKT, unless they pull off a huge upset over ROX, SKT is going to worlds anyway?

Although I am not sure if the Summer playoffs could give KT any bonus points or something.

So If KT beat Rox, they will Auto Qualify for World's. Right now SKT has 160 points and ROX tigers are guaranteed to have 160 points even if they lose to KT. As a result SKT and Rox will be tied with championship points and the tiebreaker goes to whoever has the most championship points in the Summer Split. the only team that has worlds locked in is ROX Tigers because they would win the tiebreaker since they have more championship points in the summer Split

Okay so I found a Reddit post that answers this and any other questions:

If ROX win: SKT auto qualifies to worlds based on points. Seeds: 1. ROX 2. SKT 3. Winner of Regional Gaunlet

If KT win: ROX auto qualifies on points, KT as Summer Champions qualifies and SKT has to play there way through Regionals. Seeds: 1. KT 2. ROX 3. Winner of Regionals (most likely SKT)

So even if KT pulls off a huge play, SKT still has a shot at Worlds. Btw if they do SKT will be the first Champions to return to Worlds. I just don't understand why the Champion doesn't get an automatic placement the next year to defend their crown?
