Final NA team going to World

Now that TSM and Immortals are locked into World, who will be the 3rd seed?

C9, CLG, Dig or FQ?

All of them seems quite unstable so it seems difficult to predict, but based on playoffs so far I think Dig will take it.

Thoughts?

Well by positioning, C9 only has to win one series. So they have the inside track. CLG has just not looked good lately. They and Dig still have the third place match. We'll see how that goes. C9 for its part has beaten the bad teams and lost for the most part to the really good teams. Could be an interesting final series between them and Dig. Flyquest is a wild card as they haven't played in a long time. But they haven't shown heretofore to have the firepower to get through three other teams. That said, any given day anything can happen. I'd have to favor C9 with Dig having a shot. CLG has to get back to form. Immortals really made them look bad.

I honestly just can't see FQ winning the gauntlet, they would have to win like 2 or so series and while FQ does have Hai, the team is just average at best, pretty much the same as CLG, all offense with 0 defensive strategies. ( FlyQuest eliminated)

Even with decent kill leads, CLG still can't do much late game and it's sad since every CLG member really stepped up from their Spring performances. It's sad because CLG will most likely miss Worlds and last year, they were awesome from Spring - MSI - Worlds they were fun to watch and overall had a very satisfying International performances, but I don't see them advancing. ( Counter Logic Gaming eliminated)

Too many flaws and overall just unproven even after their recent series, next time to be eliminated is non other than Dignitas. Keane is still meh, Altec is still meh at team-fighting and for the most part DIG are just above average when thinking about NA's top tier teams. ( Dignitas eliminated)

C9 has the better mid among the final NA gauntlet teams, C9 has the better bot lane duo compared to the rest of the teams' and overall, C9 only has to win like 1 or so series, in which they will most likely will win anyways. ( Cloud 9 advances )

Can we stop the bickering and get back to the topic at hand please? This goes for everybody in here. I'm not afraid to punish people who break the Universal Rules either.

I think Cloud 9 will win it to be honest. They've won the last two times they've been in the gauntlet and I think they can beat Dignitas. I don't think Flyquest really has a shot and CLG has looked too shaky as of late with the late season roster change.

If we see the shaky/weak looking C9 we saw in quarterfinals then I think Dignitas has a shot but if we see the C9 we saw that won the last 6 matches they played to end the season then I think Dig is toast.

dont matter no NA team is going to win worlds

think Dig looks the best out of the 4. C9 looked horrible against DIG. CLG looked mostly horrible against IMT and NV. FLY... this isn't the old Hai on C9, so no miracle gauntlet run.

Everyone has something good going for them this time around barring Flyquest. I cannot put my confidence behind them because of that alone; they were just too shaky and I doubt Thinkcard could mentor a winning formula not once but three times!

As for the rest, they've beaten each other left, right and center all split but some came out on top over others. It really feels like whomever doesn't show up from here on is just undeserving. But to answer your question, I'm gonna bank on DIG pulling the miracle. C9 however does have the advantage given not only their points but the amount of additional time they have to analyze and prepare for the remaining teams.

I want C9 to go but they probably won't. I can't see them beating DIG right now. Unless DIG were to fall to Flyquest or CLG...

Well, that escalated quickly...

Hai in the gauntlet................................. is there anything else I need to say. I guess another small thing is that in the last week they looked like they finally knew how to play a bit on the defensive and with shielding supports being an option now Lemonation now has some picks that can really work for him (instead of rakan/thresh/bard being all the rave). A few other things going for them is Balls having a solid split, Wildturtle still being Wildturtle and just the amount of experience and anti-tilt which is important in such a high pressure situation. Both C9 and CLG have some rookie or player who is only in their first full season (Omargod for CLG, Contractz for C9) and for C9 they have proven to have problems in clutch situations this year ( Finals of spring, Playoffs in summer) so I don't know if I have full confidence in their ability to pull off a Bo5 if they end up down 0-2 or maybe even 0-1. So while I do consider it unlikely I don't think people should write off Flyquest just yet.
