0-3 for C9 today and you think their morale is good enough to win that? Kudos to your beliefs, but I don't think so. Their morale is most likely sub-0 atm, Hai is on Tilt seeing his shotcalling.

That is the problem C9 has. One trick pony strategy (tower-push without a lot of fights) and Hais shotcalling. They depend too much on one person and if that person is on tilt, the team goes on tilt with him.

But everyone told me that NA is much better than EU and the overrated chinese teams. Guess they can only play 1 strategy and if it doesn't work they are getting exposed.

Agreed. China, aside from EDG, had very bad performance. EU is coming out way better then China this year.

Even EDG seems kinda rocky tbh. BKT almost beat them and H2k gave them a run and H2k wasn't even that good during the season and well BKT is a wildcard

People just underestimated C9 first week and tried some dull things, i even had the feeling Fnatic didnt even play for real.

On a serious note tho, who didn't see this coming from a mile away?

Statisticly speaking ( gold advantages, first turrets taken, everything ) NA was miles and miles behind, their macro is horrible.. I facepalmed for anyone saying they would get to the finals. The only team that had a chance of going quarters for me pre tournament was CLG, easiest group and "the best" NA team. But c'mon finals? Zion saying they can win it all.. Right

Reginald saying they can be top 4.. I'm just stunned at the ignorance and cockyness of those teams, it'll never change tho cause trust me, next year an NA team will win it all .. again. It's like north korea.. they win at every sport Kappa

PS: I'm not anti NA or x is better than X, im up for the best of the sport. I just cant handle the disrespect from people like reginald / zionspartan, fine to be confident but to say like "Hey I am Zionspartan, first time worlds so , yea easy win here, cu noobs" .......

only IG underestimated c9. AHQ and FNC just fucked up in game (ahq mainly with rengar, fnc with huni that tilted).

nah, fnatic just really disrespected them in the draft (yasuo into darius...) and then got punished, while AHQ somewhat did´nt seem able to understand what a siege-comp is, but they learned it quick enough for the 2nd game.

about AHQ we have definitely different point of view ... and it's ok as it is

about FNC i can give you that. effectively it was pretty disrespectful but idk i feel more like it was a necessary pick for the comp they would make (the wombo combo comp)

Huni hadn't really recovered yet from the previous game tilt vs ahQ, 3-0 of C9 frist week was more of a fluke of finding the teams that were struggling back to back to back. They fought ahQ who just...well...in that first game at a certain point stopped playing and got caught by surprise, iG that just got crushed by fnatic in the game before and overall in the tournament has not nailed the correct strategy to play, and Fnatic who had just thrown away their game vs ahQ and hadn't fully recovered from that game
