Funnier, yes. Relevant to competitive play? No. As much as people like to decry the balance of SR, the other modes are far more imbalanced.
Actually, a few years ago now (pre-LCS), there was a tournament where this sort of happened. I think maybe at one of the MLG events? Not totally sure. And it was definitely before HA existed for ARAM. But before the final, the two teams apparently talked and agreed to play the opening game of the series ARAM-style. It was hilarious, because the casters didn't know what was going on, so for ban/pick phase they were really confused. They were trying to analyze the picks and discuss lane matchups and stuff. Tons of fun to watch it. However, the teams ended up penalized for it (rumor was there were more agreements made than just playing ARAM for the first match).
