  1. Team Liquid Roster: Impact - Broxah - Jensen - Doublelift - CoreJJ. Roster changes: Xmithie -> Broxah, Pobelter added as mid coach I don't think this is even a question. The team that dominated NA (at least in the regular season, playoffs had some close calls) last year got even better, with Broxah replacing Xmithie in the jungle. While Broxah didn't have the greatest showing at worlds last year, he's certainly a more aggressive jungler than Xmithie, and chances are he'll have better synergy with Jensen than Xmithie did. The addition of Pob also is good for Jensen, as Pob can introduce Jensen to lane matchups/new champions (such as Qiyana and other midlane assassins). Overall, the strongest NA roster - hopefully they can compete internationally.

  2. Team Solomid Roster: Brokenblade - Dardoch - Bjergsen - Kobbe - Biofrost. Roster changes: Zikz -> Peter Zhang, whoever TSM's jungler was -> Dardoch, Zven -> Kobbe, Smoothie -> Biofrost The reason I put TSM this high is because I believe all the changes they made this offseason were for the better. Dardoch is the most proactive jungler they've had in a while, and Peter Zhang has been a jungler-oriented coach. Kobbe-Bio is theoretically an upgrade over Zven-Smoothie. Kobbe was the main carry for Splyce last year, and although he's not great in lane, he makes few mistakes and outputs heavy damage in teamfights. Bio is a slight upgrade over Smoothie imo. Of course, the entire thing can just blow up in TSM's faces and we end up with a low playoff team that has Dardoch be a ward-bot for Bjerg and Kobbe/Bio being underwhelming, but TSM fans should be hopeful this season. Hopefully.

  3. Cloud9 Roster: Licorice - Blaber - Nisqy - Zven - Vulcan. Roster changes: Svenskeren -> Blaber, Sneaky -> Zven, Zeyzal -> Vulcan This roster is full of potential, having 3 of the best NA talents in Licorice, Blaber and Vulcan. Although there was a lot of drama around C9 this offseason, their end output looks pretty good. Blaber looked promising in the games he played last year, Licorice and Nisqy are 2 of NA's strongest solo laners, and Vulcan is theoretically an upgrade over what Zeyzal brought last year. The question marks lie with how well the team will mesh together and how Zven will perform.

  4. Counter Logic Gaming Roster: Ruin - Wiggily - Crown - Stixxay - Smoothie. Roster changes: POE -> Crown, Biofrost -> Smoothie This CLG roster is about the same strength level they were last year - Crown is a slight upgrade over POE and Smoothie is a slight downgrade from Biofrost. The roster hinges on 1. synergy and 2. which Ruin will come out - the Ruin that looked like a bottom 3 toplaner during gauntlet or the Ruin that looked like Impact-lite in summer split?

  5. 100 Thieves Roster: Ssumday - Meteos - Ry0ma - Cody Sun - Stunt. Roster changes: Fakegod -> Ssumday, Amazing -> Meteos, Ryu -> Ry0ma, Bang -> Cody Sun, Aphromoo -> Stunt I like the roster that PapaSmithy put together. Ssumday, Meteos, and Cody Sun are all at least top 4 in their respective positions, and present a healthy balance of early game prowess (Meteos) and late game carry power (Cody Sun) with a rock in the top lane that can create advantages all on his own. The real question marks are the 2 newbies, Ry0ma and Stunt. PapaSmithy obviously saw talent there since he picked those 2, but both are unproven and we may end up getting Soligo/2019 Aphro pt 2. Anyways, this team can finish very high, but on paper I don't see this roster overcoming the 4 rosters above

  6. Evil Geniuses Roster: Kumo - Svenskeren - Jiizuke - Bang - Zeyzal. Roster changes: N/A This feels like last year's 100T all over again. There are some big names here, but other than Svenskeren none of them really make a splash. Bang/Zeyzal seems good if you think of 2016 Bang (or 2018 Spring Bang) and 2018 Zeyzal, but both of them had down years last year and I wouldn't expect them to dominate other bot lanes. Jiizuke is their import from EU but I think he was one of the worst EU mids last year, even getting outperformed by Abbedagge. Kumo looked alright in hiis 4 starts for C9 last year but given the small sample size I don't know what to expect from him. 6th seems right for this roster

  7. Team Dignitas Roster: Huni - Grig - Froggen - Johnsun - Aphromoo. Roster changes: Lira -> Grig, Damonte -> Froggen, Cody Sun -> Johnsun, Vulcan -> Aphromoo I really want to like this roster - I really do. Johnsun is one of the best NA prospects I've seen in years (his solo queue stats are ridiculous, and when I watched him play he was really good), Huni/Froggen are some of the best carries I've seen in NA when given resources. However, that's the problem - when given resources. I don't think Grig is a good enough jungler to give all 3 lanes leads at once, and Aphro is coming off the worst season of his career. I think this squad has a decent shot of making playoffs, but they'll need to put in some work if they want to get there

  8. Flyquest Roster: V1per - Santorin - POE - Wildturtle - Ignar. Roster changes: Pobelter -> POE, Wadid -> Ignar Another team with an outside chance to make playoffs. However, the weaknesses of this roster were already prevalent last summer - Wildturtle was one of the worst adcs in NA, and the team didn't have great macro. Sometimes, it was the V1per one man show and that didn't look good at all. POE should be an upgrade over what Pob was last summer (but arguably not that much over his gauntlet form and Spring). Ignar is an upgrade over Wadid and provides bot lane some aggressive support presence and some joker picks like Blitz and Leona.

  9. Immortals Roster: SoAZ - Xmithie - Eika - Altec - Hakuho. Roster changes: everything and everyone out, current roster in. Thanks Zaboutine :P This is a really confusing roster. There's hardly any carry threats (Eika/Altec? Really?) but the supporting pieces are good (Xmithie/Hakuho are both solid players, and despite SoAZ being on that disaster of a Misfits team I think he's still solid). Anyways, I don't see this team winning a lot of games - Xmithie's not one to generate huge leads in the early game and Eika/Altec are quite possible the worst mid/adc duo in the league.... unless...

  10. Golden GUARDIANS! Roster: Hauntzer - Closer - Goldenglue - FBI - Keith WOOOO! Hauntzer's in purgatory! There are some slightly promising minor region imports (Closer/FBI) and some domestic players that should not be in the LCS (Goldenglue/Keith). Honestly, it's like the Guardians took a page out of the Warriors book this year - they might be tanking for that juicy 1st overall pick in next year's player draft! What a 200 IQ move

  1. Team Liquid 15-3 I agree that Broxah should help Jensen more so than Xmithie has and overall will be just plain and simple, better. Team Liquid would have to either be taking the first half of the split haphazardly for them to fall of the top 1-2 pedestal.

  2. Team Solomid 14-5(Tie-Breaker) I actually love TSM's roster! The only problem(besides chemistry and Dardoch's obvious behavior issues) is Bjergsen, Biofrost and Kobbe all play for late game and mainly passive players - Dardoch and BB will need to carry them in the early game but that could get exploited if Dardoch gives BB the good ole' ( Reignover - Huni treatment) and teams will soon find ways to counter that.

  3. Cloud 9 13-6( Tie-Breaker) This one is kinda hard only because this team has no real shotcaller or true carry in the late game. Zven isn't a carry but more so instead a utility ADC and Nisqy is closer to a Fenix level where he'll die randomly to get a kill himself or outplay. If it wasn't for Vulcan on the team I would have placed them much lower.

  4. Evil Geniuses 10-8 If Svenskeren can carry C9 with a struggling Sneaky and Nisqy than he should be able to 'carry' EG to the Playoffs. Irean the coach for CLG last split is coaching them so that's a +. Jiizuke tends to be overlooked because he had a bad year in EU but he's still a great talent. Sure I still see EG having a few bad games but I'm still leaning them for Playoffs.

  5. FlyQuest 9-9 The roster looks good on paper but I can careless for Santorin and Viper tends to be that rookie that fell off but everyone wants to talk about BB and how he fell off, but not Viper?
Wildturtle and Ignar will be an exciting kill lane for FQ and more than likely the true carries on the team.

  6. Counter Logic Gaming 8-10 I don't see the hype for Crown within CLG or CLG for that matter! I think Ruin and Wiggily had OK splits that got blown out of proportion only because CLG was complete trash for so long at the time. Let's not forget how many splits CLG got hyped up only to go 7-11. CLG in the spring were average but were suddenly 12-7 in the summer only because the NA level of play went down compared to Spring split and everyone said such.

  7. Dignitas 6-12 Wouldn't be surprised if this team leads the LCS with most kills but also most deaths. LOL It's a good roster top to bottom but it is the biggest ? out of the 10 teams currently for me. DIG has the leadership, they have the EXP, the have the talent to win games. Froggen has had like 2 winning splits within a 11 split seasons so sure, he'll put up stats and play passive and do nothing but farm 24/7 but lose and fans will be like ' look at his stats ' .

  8. Immortals 6-12 I think Altec is below average, Hakuho had 1 decent split where he and CG eliminated TSM in Playoffs without TSM reaching Finals for the first time ever and got branded as this Thresh god only for him to look decent on such since. Eika can either be a real steal for Immortals or not but I do see IMT being a team that works together and has good synergy but not many wins.

  9. 100 Thieves 5-13 Stunt is a good player, Meteos, Ssumday, Cody, the coaching staff is top notch but I honestly think the MID could slow them down and it's not so much all Ry0ma but Soligo also.
Ry0ma just like Eika could be really good or really bad and let's say it's the latter, Soligo is the backup mid and my good(0-10) he's garbage. This is a team that has decent academy players for TOP/JNG tho.

  10. Golden Guardians 5-13 I do think this team will be a pleasant surprise for a few weeks before falling down the standings. If GG replaces Goldenglue for Ablazeolive( Which I think they will) I'll give a few more wins and even able to fight for playoffs! the problem is the bot lane has to be the worst in the LCS and the jungler is another ? from OCE.
