that game just shows perfectly what is wrong with the game currently - earlier season you´d never have seen a single Champ getting out of control so fast that even a more coordinated team has no chance of ever coming back...

but right now we have three main factors to make this possible:

  • itemization being too much about scaling (roa, crit, even lw now scaling with your opponents armor instead of your basedmg), leaving you no opptions to get back into the game if you fall behind, because you can´t trade some later on dmg for instant dmg+survivability

  • vision being too snowbally again, blue and pinkwards just get easily destroyed by the leading team, while they can defend their own...creating a massive gap in vision between the winning and the lossing team that just enables high-mobile threats to wreck havoc without any option for their opponents besides grouping near their nexus

  • most current designs created around specific situations to shine - making it easy for the team in control to create those situations and get too many big reward -medium to low risk plays out of it

The problem was Giants being dumb and allow Sencux that was 4/0 thanks to his roaming to get that quadra when they could/should have just taken the tower and run, leaving only Pepii with the license of going aggressive to get kills

The game just underlines how a single mistakes can easily cost you the entire game, while previously you had chances to get back with longest and less snowbally games
