I made a claim after the Shen rework came out that he'll never see LCS play again.

Yeah, he actually appeared a few times in challenger. I'm actually incredibly surprised that he isn't seeing more use with top lane being "tank-heavy" and his kit allowing him to function incredibly well in "protect the kog" comps.

I believe he has appeared twice. Don't remember who or when or which series, but I know I've seen him once, and I'm pretty sure I remember the casters talking about Shen in a pro game at some other point. I know that doesn't help but the info is out there and you can actually track down the specifics. I'm just too lazy.

I think he was played in either Challenger or Korea.
