And it was a guy with 3 placement wins and no border around his banner with 3 prov wins, but I searched in doubelift and it showed diamond banner. So I was all like, ok this is clearly doubelift because he's diamond 1 and is apart of CLG group. But when I see him play in LCS his name says TSM Doubelift without the [] over TSM because it's a custom game against another lcs team. How does this naming thing work exactly?

There LCS games are played on a separate server on the Tournament client.

The brackets don't appear for the LCS games ever.

Isn't Doublelift's personal account called "zero and ten"?

The LCS name you see has a team tag on it which isn't part of his real name. There's tons of people who imitate real LCS player names, or put a LCS tag in front of their names.
