In Nidalee's defense, Elise isn't much of an opponent. She has a much harder time against the big 3.
Playing Nidalee is very hard. Go ahead and try it before you think it's OP. I've played about 100 games on her and most of the time i get wrecked. Some times I do very good.
I started playing Vi recently, she's way more effective than Nidalee in my opinion. With Vi I can chase anybody down and smash them that I want. With Nidalee I have to land a spear first or my damage is minimal.
When facing Nidalee all you have to do is stay behind the creeps and she can't hit you with that big spear attack.
Also the spear only does huge damage when she has levels on you and is fed with gold and has the items ahead of you.
But all champions in this game that are two levels above you and with items can do the same thing.
Nidalee is a very high skill champion to use. If you don't think so try her and I bet you get wrecked with CC and miss a million to one skill shot spears.
Also I don't know how the pro's can clear camps that fast, When I play her I have to go back to base often due to creep damage. I'm going to watch the LCS to see how they do it more efficiently.
I find this really ironic tbh. Nidalee is built the way Elise was supposed to be built and played. As an assassin-y jungler with high pick potential.
She isn't that OP, she just got lucky, and most people could see that. In the UOL v Fnatic match, she wasn't nearly as overwhelming and it was a much closer game. SK got it first game and simply executed better than H2K's jungler (which is understandable since they are currently the top rated EU team this split). I doubt they will nerf bat her more than maybe a little bit of damage off of her Spear or takedown, not much else.
That UOL comeback though, that was truly Impressive.

Honestly bigger problem than Nida jungle is these Graves / Annie combos every game. Just instant blow up any team. I really think Annie should lose cast range on her Tibbers, combined with how big the AoE is... with a well timed flash it's just impossible to avoid.
Well it was played in LCS so the trend is usually we see it spammed for a patch, then promptly nerfed. ;)
Elise shouldn't even be picked anymore, whatever team that was their jungler is pulling them back from winning lmao.
honestly, I wish her primary role was jungle. It makes sense.
Every jungle nidalee I've seen in game has actually played her really well. So honestly I wonder if it's op. My last game the opposing team started trap and she managed to clear 14 jungle monsters (5 camps) and gank for a kill in the time I managed to kill the same 5 camps (and I hadn't recalled, and was perilously low health after 5 camps). I thought clearing 5 camps before recalling was great (most junglers only manage 3), but seeing her do the same, faster, and with health leftover to gank (and get a kill) was shocking.
So I can't say first hand if it's op as I haven't played it, but playing against it, she seems to be over tuned for the jungle. Not to mention her Spears coming out of no where, she killed me from over half health at level 5 or 6 with a spear from a Bush when I was freezing a Lane outside turret range for a teammate... and I never even saw the spear hit me, didn't get vision of it until I was dead.
Might take time but seems strong
well, giving jungle clear utily to a character who has lee sin jump without the need of landing a Q was maybe a wrong idea :p

Nidalee Jungle has always been a thing and the recent chang doesn't make that much of a difference.
That was just a good game.
Did she beat Lee? If she beat Lee, the nerfs are already getting worked on as we speak.
not sure why people are saying jungle nid is an "ok" jungler but not great. she has some of the fastest clear times out of any jungler, sustain, mobility, range, poke and burst. she can fully clear both buffs and be near full hp for ganks. she can solo drag lvl4+ after first back. shes also 3-0 in the lcs and people are now banning her.
the nid hype is real and for good reason.
J4 and Lee can kill her pretty easier if they catch her in jungle. I like jungle nid (but i'm a nid fan), because it allowed me to play the game the way i want to play it. I hope they don't nerf her. I'm tired of playing Nid in lane.
