Why does Riot hire disrespectful and unsportsmanlike casters?

I'm just wondering since this caster hosting TSM vs. SSG keeps trash talking SSG. More specifically insulting SSG Crown in an extremely derogatory fashion. "He must really admire the artwork, hugging his tower - that's as far as he's going" (if I recall correctly) among other hidden trash talk.

It seems like a massive double standard to constantly ban players in-game for bad behavior, but casters are somehow exempted from the very same treatment and can trash talk people for no reason.

There's a large difference between: "He must admire that artwork, hugging the tower so much" and "Stop feeding you fucking asshole were you dropped on your head as a child?"

It's for the same reason I can trash talk to my screen and deride the dumbasses who walk to danger pings. It's not affecting anyone, because they're not hearing it.

A particular note, casters aren't interrupting the game with their trash talk. They're interrupting your viewing, but it's not in game.

You have to keep everything entertaining. Everybody loves a bit of trash talk here and there. It's funny, it's not, in any way, out of disrespect.

It's an entertainment product. A little flavor, a little spice, makes things nice. If you want boring, only watch games that are cast by Azell or Papa smith, or dangit, pretty much half of the world's casters this year. Where's my DoA?!

He was making a point that Crown was playing scared and how good TSM was playing the map against SSG.
