How is Fantasy LCS going to work with best of 3/2 format in NA/EU LCS?

If the point system remains the same then there are going to be some huge issues that arise:

1. NA Players will be able to score much more points than their EU counterparts if their series goes to 3 games.
2. The highest scoring NA players won't necessarily be the best, they will be the ones who go to game 3 in a majority of their matchups.

Has anyone found any info on this? The updated Fantasy rule page doesn't say how they are going to address this issue. Some info from a red would be greatly appreciated.
