So why are some teams having to sell their spot?
I'm just wondering why Renegades in NA got kicked out and some others?
Does anyone know why?

business, remember dignitas, renegades, gambit (eu) etc all where relativey small companies now sports is getting bigger the ''bigger boys'' want in and are purchasing there spots.
its no different from a new owner coming into a NHL/baseball/football/soccer/nba team the only difference is in esports you can change the team-name.
the renaming part for sports mentioned above comes from sponors, if a new stadium is built while the ''bt infinity'' say was sponsoring philly flyers they would have naming rights on the new stadium and call it infinity or something you know.

Renegades violated code and conduct and deserved the boot and it forced them to sell as they could no longer compete all the more it was some established players which aided the violation which is shockingly stupid a few years ago there'd of got away with it but now esports/league is gaining credibility VERY fast it can no longer be allowed to happen.
other small orgs can no longer compete due to the wage increases etc, business is business.
