Where Was The Galio?

Why was Faker playing Cassiopeia the first game into a team comp with no real targets or carry potential from mid? Ryze seemed like a fine answer the 2nd game, but then the 3rd game he's playing Karma? Even from the face cams, it never looked like Faker was happy about how things were shaping up out of picks and bans.. who was deciding on these mid lane picks?

They take Galio 5 times in their come back against ROX and Faker shows a really good performance.. now they come to worlds and ban it out on their side every single game? There are just so many things that don't add up.
