Good for Jensen

I'm happy to see a 5 game series. We had some really good games in that series as well.

As someone who has been a hardcore C9 fan since the good old original C9, this loss doesn't upset me.

Jack and Reapered have been consistently abusive to the players in their organization and I point directly to last years benching of Sneaky and Jensen without any evidence that either was playing poorly. They filmed this benching to purposefully humiliate the 2 of them, and after Reapered lost damn near every single game without them, he realized he done goofed and put them back in XD. We all know the story, so I wont go into it further.

But Jensen leaving the org and hoisting that trophy twice in a row... with the second time being right in their face made it all better for me. I was happy to see him do it. Impact too. I don't really care about the rest of TL and my feelings for the toxic, overrated trash that calls himself DL are hardly a secret. But Jensen hoisting that trophy after solocarrying that team for the final 2 games of that series with Jack and Reapered wiping away tears just tasted sweet.

I can only hope that the result of this series will push Jack and Reapered to resign... much like they should have done a year ago after the whole benching debacle.

With that being said, TL better replace their adc before going to worlds. Jensen can only carry so hard and no player in this entire world is gonna be able to carry DL out of a world's group stage.

Jensen doesn't deserve anything. He doesn't deserve to be playing as a pro, he doesn't deserve any trophies, and he certainly doesn't deserve sympathy for being benched once. I'll agree with Doublelift being toxic, but let's be honest that what got Jensen banned makes DL look like an innocent child.

Everyone deserves a second chance.
It doesn't appear he's Ddoxed anyone or been toxic since he came to the U.S. and has been by all accounts, a changed individual.

Svenskeren once had a screen name on the Taiwan server that was a racist term for Chinese people.
Several others have been punished for behavior.

Jensen was toxic in chat, Inted some, DDOS'd games, drop hacked, doxed and threatened both other players AND Riot employees. That's very much deserving the lifetime ban he was given without lifting it. It was shady that he was allowed to be a coach and advisor for SK Gaming during his one year the ban was in place. Give him a second chance if he abided by the ban, but since they had to ban him from several smurf accounts and he was involved with a pro team, he did not.

To praise him and hate on leadership for the former team that competed to give him a new start, all while calling another far less offensive player toxic is insane hypocrisy and I'll call it out every time.

It's clear the OP hates doublelift and is salty because C9 got rid of Jensen so he builds up jensen, but is hating on Jensen the answer. No.

The thing is I don't necessarily hate Jensen himself. I generally dislike him and feel he gets hyped more than he deserves. What I hate is how he had almost no setback or penalty at all for what he had done. The indefinite ban was more than earned but wasn't even really in effect for a year. And his fans will be sad and sympathetic if he loses a major match, doesnt get MVP when they think he deserved it, was benched, was cut, etc as if he's the most lovable and awesome guy and never done anything wrong and deserves only the best life. That behavior only rankles me more when they lift up their tainted hero then turn and curse Doublelift as if he's the worst villian in the community.

By that logic IWillDominate doesn't deserve to play because he got banned for toxic behavior when he was on Dignitas, or Vasili shouldn't be eligible to play again next split for extreme misconduct and domestic violence, or the players who were caught elo boosting should be banned from playing again.

Yes Jensen Ddossing people and being toxic was wrong and he was rightfully punished for it, no ones denying that. That said, there are numerous accounts of players being penalized and/or banned for poor behavior, so why is it that Jensen is apparently the only one that shouldn't be allowed to play because of his screw-ups back then?

That aside I don't agree with the OPs mentality here at all and feel they're blowing it all out of proportion.

The number and gravity of his offenses goes way beyond anyone else's wrongdoing. When you go as far as to hack and obtain someone's IP address, threatening them with that, the indefinite ban was worthy and should have stuck. Other people haven't been nearly as evil and criminal.

So following your logic, all Permaban accounts should be unban? :D

Actually all Jensen's permabanned accounts remain banned. What was lifted was indefinite ban from pro play and indefinite ban on sight.

We get it. You hate Doublelift. You hate C9's coaching staff. But Doubelift was an integral part of those three wins. And Jensen almost lost them game 4. That 3 v 5 prevent on Baron may not make the highlight reel. But LQ doing that just as much got em the game as any of those big plays. And it probably prevented several Jensen Memes too. That certainly could have been another Jensen Zonyas or Zven Ezreal or Rekkles forward flash into a bait, or Caps 1 v 5 meme there. But because LQ didn't lose, it won't be.
