don´t talk about things you´obviousyl have no idea about (kind of really problematic that froskurin isn´t casting/analysing at worlds, so they miss good insight on China). #1 LGD is largly known in China for their brilliant rotations mid to lategame, managing to get a ton of farm on 3carries at the same time (about the only team in the world that managed to do that regularly this season) - unfortunatelly the only game they showed some of their real strengths had been the rematch vs OG. Their impressive individual mechanics are just toping it up. they really crumbled underneath the pressure of being a favourite while struggling with intern problems finding proper coaching at the end of the season. #2 EDG didn´t win MSI by chance, they outsmarted SKT. Unfortunatelly they than had some health-issues across the boards and some internal issues aswell, leading to a situation where they stopped training with Koro1 - the original captain and star-toplaner that won them MSI. And that really showed through at worlds, they just lost some of that synergy they had back at MSI (though I´m fairly confident they could have taken out Koo or KT, really unfortunate for them to draw a steadily improving Fnatic). #3 IG...well, not the biggest surprise there. They have always been knows as a very talented team that also is very inconsistent - unfortunatelly they showed their weak side in this tournament. Still, they are also a very young team (despite being aboard the scene for a really long time already, most of them are barly 18) and with some more experience they might find more consistency in their ways.

The LPL always has had an image as a bloody region that mainly focuses on fights, but they didn´t make it to the last 2 finals just with mechanics alone, they were always on the frontline of innovation in the makro-game aswell (e.g. bringing in annie-support S3 to punish the more sloppy form of laneswaps played back then with well coordinated turret-dives early on and snowball from there).

and people also are giving Korea a little too much credit this year again already - if anything, then worlds so far has proven that the NA/EU way of laneswaping is actually the better solution currently and Koreans are "just" still executing with less mistakes, but they´re not innovating as much - and they´re not the omniscent gods of makro-play they are made to be sometimes.
