Now that the dust has settled, I don't think Dyrus should have resigned.

There's Challenger Teams that would take him in a heartbeat. He could Coach. He could be an Analyst.

He could have simply taken an LCS Split off an re-learned the game/his role.

Dyrus is still a great player, but his skill level is sitting somewhere between CS and LCS. He simply needs to play in the former until he returns to the latter.

How is Dyrus not LCS level? He has been in the finals of every single NA LCS split and played every possible LCS game.

I don't know what plans he has, but retiring as a player doesn't disqualify him from taking on other roles, or even playing for a Challenger team if he wanted to. He'll probably be around in some form.
