Is Anything Going to be Done About Lane Swaps?

For a while, Riot was fine-tuning outer turrets to discourage fast pushes in the early game where teams just trade towers.

Haven't seen anything in a while, are there any plans to adjust outer tower strength or something else to discourage lane swaps?

It's getting a little boring seeing the same two tower trade every game and never seeing bot lane matchups.

Perhaps they could make it worth less to push outer towers early on? Decrease the amount of gold (global and local) distributed to give more incentive to sit in lane and farm longer? Theoretically, by doing so, the wet-noodle fight would still be around (kinda) if they didn't farm early, and if they still do it they'd need to over extend for farm which obviously would open up to more ganks. I'm not sure how well this would actually work, but it seems like it could work... maybe?

To make it go away they would need to make something else in the game more attractive to the pros early game. The tower trade is free gold with little to no risk so they are going to take it everytime. First dragon isn't worth fighting over and neither is rift herald. Just nothing better for them to do that gets more value than that tower gold.
