What's the Connection between Competetive LOL and Moon Landings?

I've just noticed that every time someone disagrees with something in these threads, the go to retort is "You must believe the Moon Landing is faked." Or "Napoleon was never short" (he was 5'5... not that short.)

I'm not sure if I missed something that directly relates moon landings to the LCS and why so many people use it in place of intellectual arguments... i seem to read it once per thread... get a new line or something.

Moon Landings have nothing to do with LOLeSports! Stop spamming that in the chat XD

It's not every time some one disagrees with "some thing." It's every time people start spouting idiotic conspiracy theories about lol that don't hold up to the lightest scrutiny. It's completely valid to compare their paranoid delusions to the moon landing conspiracy.

Players choke, teams throw and upsets happen, but that doesn't mean that the lcs is scripted.
