I've been surprised at how unconvincing TSM has looked so far. C9 and IMT have both looked stronger despite playing in much tougher groups. They only won vs FW because of a throw and that game against Misfits was just embarrassing really. Sven has been playing pretty bad, but the player that really needs to step it up is Doublelift, its an ADC meta and he has consistently been getting super far behind the enemy ADC, which really digs TSM a huge hole.

Felt like if TSM does not make it out of group then it's over for them to even say they want to prove them self. TSM has the easiest group in all the group IMT/C9 has hard opponent if you compare each group with each other. if TSM doesn't make it then there can't be a excuse of they will do it next year because they clearly won't if they can't win a opponent like FW/WE/Misfit.

P.S All people need to do is ban Tristana then TSM will have a hard time dealing with them if you look at the past 2 win Tristana was almost untouchable because of the range+attack speed+ardent+crit.

Hauntzer did good. Can't deny that Bjerg is not doing good nor bad. I feel like it's not a good time for mid laners. They can't even effectively burst an ADC anymore. I think I've seen a twitch and trist do more burst than many mid laners. Sven is not doing good. I also think it's not his meta. He just can't seem to use tanks good. He is good on Elise and Lee DL, I don't know, this is the time ADC players shine. I don't feel like DL is doing anything crazy. Bio, meh, they are playing non interactive supports, nothing to see.

I don't think they peak, i just don't think they will get much better. Since double lift has joined, they keep trying to do this "funnel the gold to the ADC" strategy. It doesn't really work; not with FNC, not with IMT, and it wont work with TSM.

I think the problem for TSM is that they're too willing to move Hauntzer off of a pure tank role and have Sven playing pure tank. That sejuani game against Misfits just looked god awful. What they 'should' have been doing that game was putting him on some kind of carry like C9 has been doing with contractz and having Hauntzer play a pure tank if that's what they want. Sven just can't engage well on these tanks so it's pushing the game later than it has to because they either fall into deficits or are unable to push advantages.

They're basically just ceding the first 20 minutes of the game needlessly when they play like this. There is no excuse for them to not just go full steam ahead against a team like misfits. What do they do instead? A Kog maw and Lulu lane that loses lane against Xayah by default, a Syndra that you never gank for, a full tank renekton....a Sejuani that never uses the ultimate. They basically just collectively decided "Hey, let's just fuck up for twenty minutes and maybe at around thirty minutes we'll win a 50/50 fight in mid". I don't expect them to keep this up, they need to look at what Immortals and Cloud 9 are doing and emulate.

As a TSM fan, we need to play around Bjerg, he is considered the best mid-laner NA by A LOT of people, even people who dislike TSM, but sadly this is the ADC meta, and DL just didn't come online yesterday...he was playing too greedy. Normally I rip Haunzter apart, but dude is playing well this worlds...Sven though...

Yeah I agree. TSM needs their DL to perform consistently to win the fight. The game vs MSF was just horrible. I don't know what to say when I see him taking fervor and cull start against a xayah-janna lane and yet still trade aggressively as if his hp bar doesn't exist. I feel like it is a total disrespect toward his opponent's skill, and this later caused his death twice. It's not that he can't carry without Trist, he just needs to stabilize his performance. Give me back that Kogmaw who got pentakill in Korean boot camp.

Doublelift needs time to scale since he's constantly picking hard-carry champions, so his usefulness tends to only be around that 30+ mins into a game, Biofrost is pretty much at the mercy of that same situation. Bjergsen has been meh so far for me, he isn't dominating mid as I thought/hoped honestly. Sven is 50/50, part me thinks Sven being on a tanky jungler helps TSM's late game fights, but another part of me wants Sven to be more aggressive and pick something that can help Hauntzer out some in the early game.
Gotta think realistic - WE will most likely beat TSM since I just don't see WE losing to TSM again when so many people think Team WE are actually the favorites in group D. FW are honestly bad right now and it's not being "unlucky", Karsa goes in and the rest don't follow up at all, the team literally stands around doing pretty much nothing, so, TSM should get another win off them. MFS have shown when they get a decent lead the tend to just snowball that lead, and when they are down in games, they tend to get destroyed so it's really going to come down to who gets the advantage in the early game and right now looking at how TSM is playing: slow, unsure, very passive it's a coin flip cause TSM "Should" beat MFS next time they face.
2-1 most likely next week but can easily go 0-3 at this point all considering how TSM have played so far.
