If you want people to stop participating in a shitstorm or call Rito bad names, then just close the thread with explanation, rather than going full fascist and straight out removing anything you don't like?

was removed for not being constructive. Y'all can criticize Riot all you want, but if the entirety of your message is about "Rito sniffing their own farts", then GG mate; I think it's fair grounds for removal.
Additionally, as Sidewinder mentioned, we don't shadow remove posts. You can review your moderation messages by clicking the red bar at the top of your screen or the button next to the Boards notifications icon (the exclamation mark). Threads that are closed and not deleted for violation of rules should have pinned messages indicating the reason for closing.
So, due to the way the boards are set up the mods are not physically able to remove a thread without you getting a notification saying that it was removed.
There's a few issues with the boards right now with posts, upvotes, and sometimes entire threads vanishing into thin air, so if you didn't get a notification just repost and call it a day.
