So, recently I got a 3-day ban from the forums for "insulting players" -- yet the post they (the mods) put in the message had nothing insulting at all. I wanna know what rule I broke.
And I'm not going to go get on some silly Discord, so don't bother. Explain it on the forums so other people can see the rule I "broke" and how to avoid doing so.

I am going to post the thread that was deleted.
And I'm not just saying that because I despise you.
Rather, I say that because, if whales pull their head out of their ass and realize, "Hey, you're a greedy fucking cash grab!", then the rest of the gaming industry would realize that not everyone is a fucking moron to exploit for all their money, and gaming might make a comeback, since flashy effects, a fake sense of competition and cheap, staged tournaments wouldn't be enough to keep their attention.
But that's just a silly thought. We all know people are fucking morons, and will throw money at whatever everyone else is, even if they know it's shit. Really do enjoy watching the one and only thing I enjoyed die off because of greed though.
Have to wonder why I bother.
This was deleted for violation of the golden rule of don't be a jerk and our reasoning for doing so
"We have asked you to refrain from insulting other users in the past. This ban isn't for posting feedback about Riot, but more so at the fact you insult the players/users and violate the universal rules."
You've done this in the past and continue to do so now. I have dealt with your threads and comments I have tried to work with you on the matters. However, you have ignored me and continue to insult people. You are calling people "a fucking moron" and saying "we all know people are fucking morons." You're not telling everybody the whole picture here, but that's fine. I went ahead and provided it.

You're calling out all people by saying "they're fucking morons." If you can't see the jerkish comments here and the insults towards the entire community then I don't know what to tell you. You've done this before and frankly we have tried working with you and understanding your points. We have even given you guides on how to structure a discussion. You have chosen to ignore them. This is the result.

You've never once tried to work with me, you just delete my post, insist it's not because of my opinions about Riot (which probably isn't the case, as I see much worse posts all the time), and then leave it at that or ban me.
LostFr0st1 votesLooking over what's posted above, the aggressive and negative structure of the post immediately stops a discussion from happening.
When someone reads it, the reaction is basically... "ok... I guess I'll leave now; this person clearly has their mind made up and doesn't want to discuss anything."
Since the boards are for discussion, the above way of structuring a post directly conflicts with the whole purpose of the boards.

And I could post that exact question above you and no one would reply to it, because there is nothing to reply to, as a lot of people don't give a damn or know enough to. If I talk about Riot in particular, people can actually talk about it.

The "extra bits of info" (I'll be frank here) just come off as "this OP is too pissed to talk normally about the topic" and make responses harder to do.

I understand how you feel and I see your points, but please keep in mind that this has been going on for awhile.

I know this looks poorly written (and, frankly, it is), I simply edited what people would consider nothing but baby rage.
My point is, just leave out the cussing, leave out the general insults, and people may just take you seriously. You don't start a discussion/debate with someone by blatantly insulting them, because it instantly makes you lose all credibility. Why even try to talk with someone, when their not mature enough to not cuss every other sentence.

But it doesn't have to be. If you're posting just out rage or venting, the post will go nowhere fast (and I speak from experience). If you're actually trying to start a discussion, and have people actually respond to you in a meaningful way, then the cussing and insults have to go.

I am going to give it to you straight and real. If you continue with your posts as they are then I will moderate them as I do everything else. I really don't want to keep having to ban when I can help someone here make their points and create discussion.
