Moderators should remove all these kneejerk reaction threads

They all are on the basis of pejorative language, insults, and refuse to discuss the topic in any appropriate way.

In Japan, there's a monthy Yugioh tournament that's female only. The goal is to have a less toxic environment to try to get more females into the game, because the main gamebase is really toxic. No one really complains because the game does have a toxicity problem against females.

So why are we complaining about it with League? Any girl who's in high elo is bound to be bombarded and called "boosted" and "an egirl", which is why many hide the fact they are female. Why are people complaining about trying to reduce the toxic environment?

As someone else said, more people seem to be mad about this than they were with Riot's internal sexism problems.

Plus, people shouldn't even be mad with the event itself. You should be mad at the poorly made timeslots with how it overlaps, because that's an actual problem.
