Please fix the Meddler's Gameplay Thoughts Posts

Recently some idiots have gone around and downvoted nearly every single comment on the thread. Apparently this has been going on for several iterations of Meddler's Gameplay posts.

It's a pain in the ass to have to go through and upvote every single comment to counteract them. Please disable downvoting on these posts. You will see the intended functionality remain intact, popular comments will still gain traction / attention. Toxic comments can still be reported and reviewed for deletion by Mods.

Also Mods, if you have a way to see which players vote on each comment or post I'd really appreciate it if you could find the trash who are doing this and ban their asses.

I mean, a lot of problems on the boards could be fixed with downvoting removed.

I think it's great that you guys are banding an idea together to prevent a plausible negative boards experience. However there are a couple of things I must say.

While the Upvoting system isn't exactly perfect per say, the idea of removing the upvote/downvote system would require a massive undertaking. Many people would vie for both sides of keeping / removing the voting system and it could result in a very divided community. That's something we don't want to happen. If the case was specifically for Meddler's own posts, it would be up to his final say on what happens to his threads.

Secondly, it is not currently capable of tracking upvotes / downvotes per unique user. On top of that, it would be hard to figure out if people were doing it for the sake of voting abuse or if people genuinely liked / disliked a thread, and that'd be a big mess by itself.
