While I appreciate that not everyone agrees with our policies, and while I'm happy to take constructive, actionable criticism into account, I will point out that you DO agree to Board's policy on Riot's servers as part of both the Terms of Use and the board Universal Rules. As they specifically say, "access to the Boards is a privilege, not a right."
We're always happy to explain or discuss policy, but "how about just not having policies" is not something we're interested in.
Denims Wrath6662 votesim not interested in discussing a flawed policy practice of some of those who abuse their power. not only is it pointless, but its actually offensive. what i mean by that is you can tell me I should be a respectful individual but that is seldom deserved, and not rewarded in the least bit- if anything its actually frowned upon by most who frequent these boards. now it may come off as an erroneous claim but I feel that I am often shunned and downvoted to hell by moderators who may even switch to non-mod accounts... so why even bother pretending to be nice? not only has riot never taken any of my suggestions into affect, and turned me into a salty person with their ever declining game, but now they expect some form of gratitude represented as respect? laughable. by all means though, remove me from the boards if i'm not deserving of it, not like riot does anything useful affecting me anyways when it comes to these boards.

I haven't seen anyone frown upon people trying to be decent people, but I also don't have your specific experience. I'm sorry you've encountered that.

We definitely don't do that: it's time consuming enough to moderate the boards, and we don't stalk individual posters to downvote them, let alone from multiple accounts. If this were the case I'd frankly be ignoring you, rather than offering above to take constrictive critique from you.

Do note that if you have concerns about a specific moderator you can always come to the Boards Discord to share them. While I can't promise any specific action you might want will be taken, we do appreciate receiving feedback, and are happy to act on it if we feel action (such as additional training, for example) is appropriate.
Just please be as objective as possible if you do -- insults wouldn't be helpful, but raising concerns you've experienced with examples can be.
Not that you have to do this, but if you find yourself frustrated and want to the recourse is available. :)

Was this on this account? I just looked through your violation history, and the closest thing I can see is a amusing video post you made in Memes & Games that was redirected to General Discussion, followed by a non-humorous video you posted that was redirected to Streams & Videos as it was definitely a discussion/analysis of a mage-based meta. I could see an argument for leaving the latter or moving it into Gameplay, but I don't see any post on this account that was moved from Gameplay to Player Behavior or back.
I'd love to look into this for you if you have the name of the account in question, as there is no action like this on this account's violation history.

Ahh. 2-3 years ago would have been the old Mod Squad team, which is not representative of how the current Volunteer Moderation Team handles things. I'm afraid I can't speak for their decisions or actions, as I don't know any of them or what they were thinking at that time.

After i reposted it with clear writing showing it was in the right space, thee same mod subsequently deleted a couple of my M&G posts as soon as they got 50-60 upvotes and I'd have to repost them and tried to say they didnt belong. I havn't seen him in like 2 years now though.

Terozu2 votesOh i know lol. The new mods are great. I was just putting an example of how bad they were... seriously i had like 50 upvotes and he deleted it saying it belonged somewhere else. I had to repost and explicitly call him out on it and get upvotes on that to have my post restored... he stopped showing up in general after that. you guys took over and now everything is much much better, like seriously, especially with how you handle the player behavior boards, you always keep cool and handle ragers well.

I'm not prepared to say we have 99% accuracy without checking it, but we've been pretty good for a while. There are some cases where the person whose post is removed doesn't agree with the punishment, which some people might add to the tally, but we're pretty good about reversing the rare occurrences where a post is improperly removed.

I had one post that was basically "A better way to use the first win of the day system" with something along the lines of "Some people end up being forced to stay up at odd hours just to get their first win because of a string of losses or other things for days at a time thanks to the way the current system is working, and most systems reset first wins at specific times. Could we please have our first wins reset at a specific time rather than it being related to our last win?" Posted it, it disappeared, tried searching for it, couldn't find it, posted it again, it disappeared again mysteriously, also couldn't find it on search, gave up. It wasn't posted in the wrong section either, it was in the gameplay section, and when it IS placed in the wrong section, they tell you and ask you to post it again in the right section, and if I recall when I did post in the wrong section one time and someone told me, they also basically gave me my post so that I could basically copy/paste it to put it in the right section.
Wouldn't be surprised if me even posting what my post was here was shadow removed. Then again the people that did it might not look here for it.
