"Riot is corrupt because they won't fix X" - Can we please do away with this? (revised w/ poll)

I think it is extremely selfish and off-putting when people do this.

It's often just a desperate attempt to manipulate people and force Riot to pay attention to the poster's issue above all other issues that are also clamoring for Riot's attention.

It's downright fucking irritating and disrespectful to just about everyone involved, both boards users and Rioters alike.

It would do the Boards a lot of good if every "WTF RIOT" thread was replaced with a "Let's discuss the particulars of this change" thread.

Unfortunately, some people are not here to discuss the game. They are here to rant. It's very hard to reconcile the same space for people who want to rant and people who want real discussion. Those two populations tend to clash.

Yeah, this is getting cheesy; if people are too prideful to ask for solutions, they shouldn't be making problems.

Corrupt, no. Imcompetent, very much so.

Reporting might be a bit of a stretch, seeing as how they actually have to break the Board rules for it. I already downvote them though, so I'm with you on that.

It just seems stupid. If riot didn’t care about their game and champions, why keep updating it so frequently?

Generally I agree with you and I think there is a lot of anger with the new system that is now in place. More than 1% hate it that is for sure, but we won't get anywhere by calling lol corrupt every time we dislike something. We need real points with a basis behind them if we wish to start a logical discussion.

They're corrupt because that's the nature of business. They will not fix champions that sell skins.

And it doesn't fall under any report category. While yours is harassment of any such poster.

Certainly stretching the call for action and generalizing the matter, I think. If the comment or post is a meaningless shitpost with no supporting argument or entirely irrelevant to the discussion, then sure - I think we can entertain this discussion. But when these opinions are voiced with reasonable rationale and it's relevant to some discussion, I think this notion is borderline childish. The suppression of dissenting and unpopular opinions that are voiced respectfully because you fundamentally disagree is simply silly. Now, I wouldn't necessarily say they are corrupt by nature, but I might say they can be incredibly incompetent and negligent in various departments. I won't go into those details here because that is beyond the scope of this discussion, but there are plenty of well-reasoned arguments for these opinions.

The best one is when people call riot corrupt for not giving them more free stuff via the hextech crafting system,

No.

Riot is corrupt and would never allow us to do away with it.
