Seems people there play worse compared to Bronze 1 players who give 110% to win.

Focus more on your improvement, not your team's

It all depends on how you play, Try to practice CSing if you can get ~70-80 at 10 mins and ~150 at 20mins you will win more games because you will have a much bigger gold advantage. Also work on getting OBJECTIVES, they are much more important than kills. Also dieing is almost never worth getting a kill in 1 for 1 unless you get a shutdown or objective control.

Also, What role do you main?

3 champs carried be out of s5-1. Blitzcrank, Morgana and Braum. Learn them and watch all the games you win. A good support can change the tide of matches.

You'll get better advice if you can provide a little more info - what role, champions do you play, do you have specific problems you're encountering.

In general: you can't control your teammates, only yourself. Every bit of effort you spend raging or frustrated at your teammates is a bit of effort that could have been spent improving your own play/carrying those silly noobs.

You will lose games - don't sweat it. Have goals other than winning that you can achieve - i.e., improving your map awareness, your warding, your csing, etc.

One of the most effective ways to climb is to pick a role and then a champion or two in that role, and master them. For me, it's solo lane Quinn. I can take her mid or top and reliably do well against almost any matchup in low Platinum.

Never, ever rage. 95 percent of the time, don't even type, no matter how constructive you feel it to be. Limit yourself to like 5 messages per game, with the exceptions of ggwp and gj. All raging will ever do is lower your chances of winning.
