Carrying my bad friends

Onikenshin··1 votes·745 views

Hello there fellow summoners. Anyways...

I keep deciding to play with some friends of mine from the real world. They are actually very, very bad. So bad I can no longer play 5v5 with them but play with them I still do. I keep losing quite a bit of games but don't want to hurt their feelings because they are like that. Is there some strategy I should follow to stay on level and winning? I was ranked up in gold last season but haven't had the time to play ranked enough to climb up there again

They are barely out of lvl 30 with only one full set of tier 3 runes.

Make a new account and just have fun with them. I have a bronze smurf and I play with my cousin all the time and we do stupid stuff, it's not about winning and losing it's all about having fun. You can have that account just to go on rank and be serious and you can have another one just to play with your friends and just have a good time with them.

If you really want to help them improve download a program like lolreplay or skinspotlight replay and record the games you play with them. Watch the recordings and give them one or two things that they can practice every week. Like for example you can tell your top laner to look for more opportunities to teleport in for a flank or tell your ADC to practice last hitting minions.

that literally sounds like something a serious ranked 5s team would do

You don't start giving your friends homework, when yall having fun rofl...

OP just get a lower ranking account and play norms through that.

Not like homework, just ways that you can help your friends.

If I had friends in plat or diamond I would hope that they would help me improve.

The OP isn't going to start having lots of fun until his friends are on the same level as him since he's obviously a competitive individual and doesn't just want to ROFL Stomp new players.

I think your tip was great, did the same thing with my cousin who started playing 2 years after me, and he improved wonders. He's absolutely on my level now and it's because I helped him advance. it doesn't sound like a ranked 5's team lol I'm sure what they do is way way way more advanced. Heck im silver and I watch my replays, if someone thinks a ranked 5's team looks for simple things like csing on the adc and tping in on the top laner.. then well you know all you need to know about that OP. Good advice bruh keep it up. xD

That was some very helpful posts. Guess I will see if I can help them improve using that kind of things.

Yeah I love playing league competitively and just haven't had time to play ranked seriously this season.

I can work on how I present help I guess. A lot of it is they like to play a champion that is pretty strong but hard to play and they won't read builds on the internet at all.

If you play with friends and try to win, then I dont think you will have much fun. Just play and enjoy yourself relax, gaming is suppose to fun
