because of the recent onslaught of people trying to play some champ that a pro played in lcs i decide to create this guide

so you want to copy a pro's build? Well good for you juts a couple tips that instead of you being and a bad wannabe to a good wannabe

first off are you doing this because x pro did well, sorry to burst your bubble but you're not x pro and will not get the same results

  1. Now, do you understand why that build works and why it's strong, if no go do your homework
  2. why did pro decide to go that champion, if you can't answer if no go do your homework
  3. are you already mechanically skilled with that champ that you're building on, if no go play 20 games on that champ it should give you a feel for that champ too
  4. are you trying this in ranked, if yes get out play play at least 5 games in normals before you try this in ranked
  5. do you know the counters to that champ, if no go do your homework
  6. are your runes the same (trust me this makes a difference)
  7. will you blame your teammates if you fail horrendously? if yes learn to be nice

Just a couple of tips first if your not comfortable with that champ at all why even bother, also most of the time when people do this they go straight in and don't even bother to see why that build worked in a the first place. I am guilty of seeing x pro/youtuber/player play a champ and immediately dive in. What separates a good wannabe and a bad one is how they approach playing a new champ. the good one will do research on the champ and see how the pro plays. The bad one will buy and rp card buy the champ play one game feed and never touch it again.

tdlr do research before playing a new champ

#DISCLAIMER although most of this is true don't take this to heart practice makes perfect, and if you play the champ enough you'll be be just as good as if you did research. I pretty sure playing something is better than watching 5 billion guides and youtube video's and without furthur ado

#good luck and don't let me see you in ranked

i like this, but i find a lot of the counters usually are not as bad as they seem to be, and the best are sometimes not even on the lists. Mainly i mean the cait/vayne matchup, a decent vayne will win as long as they play carefully. Its hillarious for me to 2nd pick vayne, then see the other team take cait immediatly afterwards.

Basicly i think your right, but also take notes while your playing. Ez vs Graves is my counter to graves... ez shouldnt be in long egagments period.
