I Need a Good Mid

Okay, so for the longest time ive been maining Katarina, if you look at my last season stats, I had 600+ ranked games with her, and I carried myself from bronze to platinum with her. The problem i'm facing now is that she is practically permabanned, so when she is banned, I have no idea who to play as. I am looking for some suggestions for good mids or even junglers to carry with. P.S. Ahri and Zed are out of the picture. Please give me some suggestions :D

Annie she has the most range of almost every champ you'll come across mid and she can be played as a support if needed.

I personally like Shaco for jungling. His Q's dash+stealth+crit is very versatile and rewards good play.

For mid, I tend to prefer long range mages. AP Ezreal is fun, and I'm very curious to see how the Ziggs/Athenes changes pan out. Viktor is another great champion, who can adapt his build and abilities to meet the challenge of the enemy ahead of him.

The biggest thing is I'd anticipate some rank drop no matter who you switch to. It'll take some time to adjust to a new champion and get good with them, and few are as snowbally as a fed Kat.

Xerath is ridiculously strong mid and late game. Even early he's got finishing potential with his ult. Once you learn your distance he's damn near impossible to get to in team fight situations.
